Good traditional carne asada steak taco with onions and cilantro. Plenty of meat and wasn’t fatty or gristley. Green salsa was good for me. Red salsa set my lips on lol I think one green sauce came with the price of the taco. I had one carne asada taco, 2 green sauces, and one red sauce for $7.15. Unfortunately, I didn’t check my bag well and missed out on the lime wrapped in foil on its own before I devoured the whole taco.

I ordered the carnitas and it was delicious. They gave me three lime slices with my meal which always brings out the flavor. The chocolate lava was amazing! Alex was my server and he did a great job.

I don’t live in Indianapolis, but I thought it was a great authentic Mexican food. As soon as I sat down and I saw the menu, I knew it was not authentic. I only ordered 3 steak tacos, and I didn’t like them. My expectations were high since I’m from Chicago, where tacos are the best. This is more like texmex food.

The food was sizzling hot. Great prices healthy from God. Earth’s table type stuff. The mojito was good too. It was so good. I drank everybody else’s. Nothing like day drinking with a bunch of light weights.

If you are looking for good service then I would not recommend coming here. The food was good but nothing to rave about. After being served our food we were only visited by waitress once. After that we didn’t get asked if we needed a drink refill or if we needed anything else. The only thing I would go back for is their micheladas.

The mixed seafood ceviche tostada is my absolute favorite. Their rice is really good as well. I appreciate their selection of waters, getting either jamaica when I can or cucumber. I just tried their horchata and highly recommend it, it’s like a lighter version of a holiday drink and refreshingly creamy without being thick. I haven’t tried anything I haven’t liked and it’s an enjoyable time.

The lady was weird the man said she didn’t know how to speak English, but knew shrimp, steak in English. But didn’t know how to understand I wanted my drink sweeter. The The Margaret Rita, drink was sour taste like pickle juice with hot sauce, and a whole bunch of seasonings together. I didn’t really taste any damn liquor. What was supposed to be my free night of work and from stress it turned into more stress, and the lady had a weird attitude and still nonchalant but then when it came to my man, she had a big smile and was happy to take my man order but had an attitude to take mine. she SUCKS!

We stopped by La Parada in Indianapolis for lunch, and from the outside, I’ll admit it looked a little… let’s say “quiet.” There wasn’t a soul in sight, and we were starting to wonder if we had made the right choice. But stepping inside, it felt like we were transported into a cozy, vibrant Mexican spot with the typical charm you’d expect.

On the server’s recommendation, I ordered a Michelada. Let’s just say, it was spicy and packed a punch ! For the main course, we got chicken fajitas and veggie fajitas. The sizzle alone made it worth it, and the flavors did not disappoint. And, of course, we couldn’t resist ordering flan for dessert. Sweet, creamy, and the perfect way to finish off the meal. Service was also prompt and warm. All in all, despite the initial “is this place open?” vibe from the outside, it ended up being a delicious and memorable meal. Definitely a hidden gem if you’re ever in Indy!
