They are really good w.r.t the authenticity of Chaat! One of the great chaats I have ever had in the US! Will really recommend the ragda pattice and dahi puri too and their paneer sp. sandwich! One of the gems of Sunset Valley food specialities ❤️

Tried the Dahi Puri and Sev Puri. Dahi puri was crunchy yet soft, creamy, and so satisfying! Sev puri had the absolute burst of flavors! The perfect mix of sweet, tangy, and spicy. However, would appreciate if they really add extra spice when we ask cause some of us like spicy food ️

Great Desi chaat place with a variety of options. Loved the samosa chaat, dahi vada, vada pav, mirchi bajji and the pista Falooda. The aroma out of the food truck kind of enhanced our appetite while waiting. All tasted fresh and delicious. The samosa chaat has a bit of a kick with the right amount of spice.
The golgappa with ragda was the only item that we tried that was just average and a little bland.
Ambiance is just ok considering this is a food truck parked next to a gas station and car wash. There are a couple of benches and cots to accommodate seating for a dozen or so.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with the taste and service, and will keep coming back and try more items. Ja Simran Ja, aur kuch ley aa.. 🙂

This place is great for authentic chaat in Austin. We got their Vada pav, Bombay sandwich, and Pav Bhaji. All of these tasted great!
For dessert, we got their gulab jamun and chikoo icecream and would recommend these as well. Make sure to ask them to warm up the gulab jamun.

Great find in south austin where there arent any authentic desi/Indian food spots.
Tried few items and all were unique and shows the difference. Samosa chat,paav bhaji,bhel puri and gol gappe with ragda was amazing.
Wish they had a brick n mortar place to really enjoy the chat foods.
Sometimes taking togo makes food soggy and unwanted plastics.

Chaat Ka Chaskaaa – Chattar Pattar #1 offers a decent variety of street-style snacks. The flavors are satisfying and portions fair. It’s a nice spot for a quick bite when you’re in the mood for something chatpata, though not the most memorable experience.

The only chaat place in southwest Austin. At least now we don’t have to go all the way to north to have Indian street food. They’ve some unique items on menu like ulta vada pav, masala pav and Maggie. All 3 items you won’t find even in north austin food trucks. We ordered bhel and vada pav for the first time. Looking forward to make it our regular go to place for chaat cravings and try all items on menu one by one. They’ve some interesting ice cream and drink options as well. Limited parking space and seating area. Overall good experience.
