Came here on a Saturday evening. The place is spacious with plenty of tables, but it was still pretty busy. We arrived around 5 PM and were lucky not to wait, but I’d recommend making a reservation during peak hours. The crunchy wings were crispy, slightly spicy, and very flavorful. The Sticky jicama ribs were the highlight absolutely amazing. I’m not a vegetarian, but I tried them out of curiosity and loved the unique texture. Even though it’s tofu, it almost feels like meat, and the slight spice keeps it from being too heavy. Prices are reasonable, and I’d definitely come back to try more dishes.

Incredible flavors happening at Khue’s. The chicken salad alone is worth a revisit, but our table really enjoyed all we tried. Weekend-only lettuce wraps were perhaps the least notable thing we ordered, while the jicama “ribs” are unlike anything you’ve tried before (maybe you’ll love them, maybe not…), but in its entirety the menu offers perfect variety in a compact selection. Bright, punchy flavors throughout made this really memorable and affogato was the perfect close to the night. (Looking forward to wings and a chicken sandwich on the next visit!)

The food and service here is executed very well, but I personally found most of the food too spicy for my palate. We started with the cream cheese wontons (not spicy, of course) and they were great! Freshly fried and served immediately with a great sweet and sour sauce – so good. While I found the texture and overall flavors of the jicama ribs, I wish it had been labeled as a spicy dish. The heat level was unexpected for me as it didn’t list chili in the ingredients. Maybe that’s on me for not expecting it, as Vietnamese food typically does give heat! The fried rice was truly excellent, albeit still quite spicy (chili crunch is listed, so this was expected) – it’s a healthy dose of chili crunch lol. The meal highlight for me was the tres leches cake! Not too sweet, and a bit of salt in the whipped cream topping was the perfect compliment. Enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee as well – strong, but creamy and sweet. Athena was a wonderful host and server! All staff were attentive and kind – very warm environment.

I got the ribs which tasted different and not in a 100% good way. Texture was weird. I wished they gave me one more rib because it seems like the other plates at the table got better portion sizes. The star of the meal was the Thai Tea Tres Leches which was pretty solidly good. Small menu (which I was a little surprised at) which I got to try most of because we shared a bite of what we got. Probably wouldn’t come back here, but I got to scratch it off my restaurant list.

Lovely staff, lovely vibes and lovely food! The spicy chicken sandwich and sticky jicama ribs are must-order. The cream cheese wontons were also good. I personally did not like the Thai tea tres leches cake but it wasn’t bad at all! We had a reservation and had to wait about 15 minutes. It was no big deal at all, but the staff went out of their way to make up for it without us saying a single word. They ended up comping part of the meal which was unnecessary but very kind. I will be back for sure!

The food was fantastic! All the food was light and refreshing and true to Vietnamese flavors. The sticky jicama ribs have no business being that good. My wife described them as witchcraft. There will never be a time that we come here that we don’t order those, but every other dish that we had was also great. This place quickly became one of my favorite restaurants in the twin cities!

We ordered half the menu,bc it all sounded good. I don’t like salty, so take my comments “with a grain of salt”. The chili wings were a hit, but, honestly, they could have been served without the chili oil and still been great. The side sauce might be for those who wanted to cut the “heat”. The wraps were good. But, the jicama tofu “ribs” and the bún esp. with the sauce that Khue uses were fantastic. The chicken sandwich, I would order again, but without any sauces and just have them on the side to see how the sandwich tastes. I would, personally, not order the fried rice again (I don’t like salty), but the egg was perfectly made for a fried rice. I’d go back. The price is based on 3 drinks, 2 apps, and 4 dishes.

Came with a group and ordered mutilple items. Everyone’s favorite was the chicken sandwich and the chicken wings. Good batter and sauce. The “meh” items were the noodle salad and the pork chop. We prefer these items at other Vietnamese restaurants. Least favorite was the Thai Tea Tres Leches…. Honestly, it was bland for a dessert! Will come again just for the chicken sandwich.

I found my new obsession. Everything about my experience was top-notch. The chicken salad, the vegan sticky ribs (jicama and tofu) that blew my mind, talking to the super friendly staff, meeting the owner. I will be back again and again and literally am telling everyone about this place. Run, don’t walk.
