Delicious food with fresh ingredients. We had an excellent waiter, he was so nice and attentive. Definitely recommend this restaurant. The chicken salad and deviled eggs were soo good! Sitting out on the patio, you have a nice golf course view! Would love to come back here again!

Enjoyed our dinner at Kestrel. Visiting just for the holiday. Started with the banh mi buns, beet salad and finished with prime rib cooked perfectly medium rare . Mo was an excellent host and we felt very taken care of. I enjoyed my pistachio old fashioned and hubby had a manhattan. Espresso martini and lava cake were tasty too! Thanks for a great dinner!

Haven’t been here and made it a destination dinner from Rancho Mirage. Beautiful view, great service and best Brussels sprouts I’ve ever had. Deviled eggs also divine. Highly recommended. Look forward to their expanded wine menu in the future. Great California wines but global representation is coming!

Loved, loved, absolutely LOVED our Kestrel experience last weekend! Chef Blais was not there but the staff was superb, the food exquisite, and the ambience stellar. I had the seabass with curry which was velvety smooth with rich flavor. We WILL BE returning to share the experience with my parents and sister.

We had such a wonderful brunch today. Our family was excited to visit this new restaurant & it didn’t disappoint. Lots of options for picky 10 & 14 yr olds, gorgeous view of the golf course/mountains, deliciously prepared food, and DK was so welcoming & kind… he made it a great experience! We can’t wait to go back.

We were so excited to come to a Chef Blais’ restaurant and we were so disappointed with our experience tonight. The patio furniture was cheap and uncomfortable. We ordered a bottle of wine that took an extended time to come. The barata salad app was tiny and didn’t have all ingredients promised. We ordered a filet medium and it was presented medium well, nearly well done. We asked for an adjustment and rather than listening to our concern, the waitstaff returned the steak to be cooked more by the chef rather than a new cook. When we again tried to express ourselves, our waitstaff was very argumentative and confrontational. The steak was now way overdone and not edible. We ordered the chocolate lava cake—because it is my favorite. It was cold, had no “lava” and was so disappointing. Overall our special valentines dinner was not at all what we expected. Total disappointment and avoidable.
