Service was terrible. Not unfriendly, but the waiter was lost, and simply never came to check on the table. Food took forever. Also forgot several items, including dressings for salads, and an order funnel cake fries. Of course my son wanted those, so we waited at the end. They were the best thing anyone got. The place was not busy at all.
Pictured is the $15 salad I ordered from the menu, and what I actually got. Wife wouldn’t let me complain in house – it had already taken forever, and we were headed to Six Flags.

Absolutely our new favorite place. The food was unbelievably good! My husband’s burger might look underwhelming but that’s because he likes it plain. The twisted potatoes alone won my heart and the nachos were amazing. We will be back without a doubt. The only two things that would have been better was If loaded potatoes twist were on the menu and If the place was bigger so I’ll always get a spot if it’s busy

They charge $25 for the jp’s platter and serve you 2 tiny pieces of each type of meat if you order to go. Don’t order to go if you don’t want to pay $25 for fries and bread. Terrible

Let me start off with this: the BBQ sauce was amazing! Literally, at first, I wasn’t a big fan because it had jalapeño in it. Usually, I’m not a fan of hot stuff because of heartburn, lol. I don’t know who came up with the BBQ jalapeño with blueberries in it, but wow, that’s pretty amazing! I normally don’t like blueberries, and honestly, I would’ve paid to take a bottle of that home, haha. Y’all did amazing! Literally, literally, I would pay to have a bottle to take home. I think you should make and sell that BBQ jalapeño with blueberries; I would eat it with anything.

I had heard mostly good things about JP’s. I heard they were doing a mardi gras menu. So i ordered a muffaletta sandwich.i love muffaletta sandwiches. It was great. I ordered a side Caesars salad. It was put in the box next to the warm sandwich. Maybe put it in a separate box next time. Overall great job. Oh also if you like the olive relish i would ask for extra. I was so hungry i didnt have much left for a picture…lol

Delicious! You should go to JPs if you are craving excellent food. We ordered the Good now burger and it was spectacular! The blending of flavors was right on to offer something exciting and filling. The service is great too. I hope they consider opening another one on the west side of town. They will have a lot of business here.

I have always been incredibly impressed with JP’s. I enjoy eating there whenever my family comes up to visit, and I have never had any bad experiences. The fact that the meat comes from on campus is a perk that other restaurants just really can’t offer. I would give JP’s food a 5/5 stars any day, as I have tried multiple different items and been completely satisfied with all of them. The service is also great there! The employees are observant and helpful but not to the point where you feel like they’re being pushy. They come around at the perfect times for ordering, bringing out food, and bringing out the check. I’ve never felt rushed to leave or pressured to buy anything I didn’t want. I personally feel that the prices are a great deal for the quality of food. JP’s rivals any burger place I’ve ever been to and consistently comes out on top. If you haven’t tried it yet– what are you waiting for?
