Mel’s Bagel & Deli is such a great spot, and I’m so glad I stopped in. From the moment I walked in, the service was super friendly and kind, which immediately set the tone for a great experience. My bagel was made really quickly, and it came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. It was perfectly toasted — soft and chewy on the inside with that nice crisp on the outside that makes a bagel just right.
The place itself is clean and welcoming, and there’s seating available if you want to stay and eat. They have two tables for two people and three tables for four, which is great for a small breakfast or lunch stop. While I was waiting, it was actually fun to watch them make the bagels and hot bagel sandwiches for the customers ahead of me — you can tell everything is made with care and attention.
They also have a full coffee bar with everything you could want to customize your drink, and the coffee itself was delicious. Definitely not an afterthought here — it pairs perfectly with the bagels. On top of that, they offer more than just breakfast. They have lunch options as well, and the bagels are made in-house, which really makes a difference in quality and flavor.
There’s also a drink cooler with a big selection, plus plenty of chips and extras, making it an easy one-stop spot whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or a full meal. While I was there, I overheard someone ordering their homemade soup and saying it’s the best in the area — so that’s officially on my list to try next time.
Overall, Mel’s Bagel & Deli is a fantastic local spot with great food, excellent coffee, and genuinely friendly service. I’ll definitely be back again (and again).

Super friendly staff. Went in for 3 bagels, came back an hour later and got 8 more. Decently priced, tasty bagels, and good bit of cream cheese. Definitely will be coming back. Recommend getting there closer to open to avoid the line.

Mel’s is a local staple. Every time I work early, I head around the corner, grab myself one of their blueberry bagels with egg and cheese and thats what starts my day. The staff is always friendly, considerate of their customers needs, plenty of parking, reasonable prices, and is just a good down home local business. There’s not much room inside to sit down and eat, but there are tables. Support your local bagel shops!

Love Mel’s, my favorite bagel in town. If you want a real treat try their soup, $6 for some truly crave-able homemade soup. Must try. (Bonus tip, sausage, egg and cheese on any bagel with salt, pepper, catsup)

my boyfriend and I come here almost every week to get their pastrami Reuben. Possibly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The toast their Ryebread’s on the grill they add delicious coleslaw and a perfect amount of Swiss cheese. We recently tried the muffins too, and they were delicious.

Super simple bagel shop with good food. I went with a simple western omelette bagel sandwich. Ingredients in the omelette are cooked up a little first (I think the right way, not just folded into a cooked egg.) Also some home fries right in the sandwich as well. If it was somewhere local to me I’d definitely be giving it a frequent go.
