Amazing food, affordable pricing and great service. Definitely recommend. Loved they offer a wide variety of food options. I enjoyed the veggie plate and my husband got the porch chop meal. It was $10.99 and came with two porch chops, sides and bread choice. Bread choices were extensive; corn bread, hush puppies, etc.

good homemade biscuits which my husband loved! our chicken fried steak and eggs over easy were good. we were there at 9am and look forward to returning to try their chicken livers and dinners items. the server was very polite. we enjoy going to family restaurants. the menu says 50 years in business! they have truck parking!

This food is trash. All frozen low quality food. You could taste the freezer burn on the trash. I swear I’ve had better burgers form fast food places and better potato wedges from gas stations…. Do not waste your time going here. I do not recommend at all.

The chicken livers were dry and overcooked, no butter for the mashed potatoes or cornbread, couldn’t get a refill on coffee until I was done eating and it was the bottom of the pot ( old and nasty). I had to ask to get my pinto beans heated in the microwave because they were cold and had to go back and get them since the waitress was busy on her phone. I will not be eating here again.

This place is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME . I drive a semi OTR for a living and I love coming through I-77 just to stop here to eat. I have had breakfast and dinner here and the food CANT BE BEAT. Service is top notch. Food is home cooked and fresh. Staff has that good ole southern hospitality. Trust me, if you’re in the area stop in and say hello. Tell them Kyle said to stop in (That won’t get you special treatment but I’ve always wanted to say it lol) You won’t regret stopping at Gunter’s. Also to my driving brothers and sisters. They have FREE overnight parking. Just please keep it clean so it stays free. Safe Travels to all!!!

Ate here two days in a row because I unloaded lumber next door and if you want a hearty home cooked meal then try them out because their food is great and you definitely get a plate full of good ness. They have free truck parking in the back as well

We stopped by this place on our way home from Charlotte and I’m so glad we did. The food was excellent. It came out quickly and hot and the service was great as well. I highly recommend their BBQ. Everything on the menu sounded great, we’ll definitely be back.
