We’ve been coming here for years, and every time we have guests in town it’s the first place they ask to go.
The bagels are always hot, fresh, and perfectly chewy. The homemade cream cheeses are packed with flavor – our favorites are the veggie and the jalapeño- and the breakfast sandwiches are loaded and delicious.
Pro tip: don’t sleep on the cold brew—it’s one of the my favorites in the area.
Great service from a friendly staff, fast-moving line, and consistently awesome food. A must-visit if you’re in town.

Bagels were hot, food was fresh and decent, service was very friendly, prices were good, and no one got sick from the food. Not much more I am looking for from a bagel shop. Hot Bagels are a staple of the South Jersey area and the food is pretty consistent so that’s always a plus.

This is by far one of my favorite bagel places on the island!! I am EXTREMELY picky (adopted by a Jewish woman) and it’s the best that you can get in Margate (besides the other locations). The people that work there are SUPER friendly and smile despite the long hours. The food is crazy expensive but what isn’t these days? The people cooking & running the register do not make up the prices therefore, I tip them!! Without Water Dog, this is my go-to for all things whitefish, lox, bagel sandwiches, soups, iced coffee and chicken salad. And, it’s clean!

Gotta love Hot Bagels! The food is always excellent and the service is great, even on a packed summer weekend. Today we were met by Leanne at the door making sure the line moved smoothly and everyone got what they ordered as quickly as possible. If you’re lucky enough to have a Hot Bagels near you, don’t skip it, and definitely try a chocolate chip bagel!

you guys don’t put enough everything seasoning on the bagels and I noticed that when I go to hot bagel on the weekdays, it’s way more fresh. The bagels are better than they are on the weekend. when I get my bagel toasted like it turns brown, but it’s not actually crunchy. You guys have fallen off and have competitors now.

Great experience this morning getting brunch for the whole crew. I should’ve ordered ahead but decided to just walk in and the line was huge. Thank god for Leanne. Everyone in line was hangry and she kept everyone happy. (And I’m pretty sure I saw Pat Croce up ahead of me – should’ve worn my Sixers hat)
Of course the bagels speak for themselves. Only thing missing for me was a slightly elevated gluten free bagel (I miss hot bagels more than anything else since my diagnosis). But the rest of the family and my kid’s whole crew of friends who were down post end of school were raving about how these bagels are better than anything near home.
