UPDATED: Our order was placed under the name Tuba on Sunday. We immediately contacted your store to report the issue with the burger, and your team took our phone number, assuring us that they would investigate the matter and follow up after notifying the manager. @Owner for your awareness, No one contacted us back.
The food itself was full of flavor, and everyone in the family found something they enjoyed. The portions were generous, and the menu had enough variety to keep both adults and kids happy. It felt like a spot we could easily come back to for a casual meal, a family outing, or even bringing friends along next time.
Overall, Flamin Feathers gave us a warm, memorable experience. We’re really glad we stopped by and will definitely be returning with the whole family!
Ordered the chicken tacos with fries and the burger with fries. I like that you can pick your spice/heat level. One fry order is enough to share. My chicken tacos were loaded with chicken- it was fried and cut up into cubes. However, the chicken didn’t seem to be dressed with “nashville hot” seasoning. Rather, it seemed the flavor and heat came from the sauce. And the sauce covered the entire dish. Although I am a sauce lover, i couldn’t see anything but sauce. The Tortilla and everything tasted fresh. It needs a little more veg- diced tomatoes/lettuce, and less sauce. Overall, a good meal. Will try some other items.
It was ok in the way that ‘how can anything deep fried be bad?’ But I found myself not looking forward to subsequent bites and just eating to quell hunger. Nothing repulsive mind you, just … meh. At 3 out of 4 spicyness it wasnt spicy at all to me (I was expecting sonething like Harrolds of Chicago).
The quantity was massive. I would have preferred half the quantity for twice the quality at the same price. I tossed most of the bun and nearly half the chicken.
Perhaps my biggest gripe is the tray size. This food is messy. The tray size should be proportional to the messyness. This was opposite, requiring strategic planning to figure out how to grasp the sammy without dumping all on the table.
