Everything was tasty!! The beef and sausage with a dip is great, add sweet and hot peppers!! Add nacho cheese to give it more flavor. I also got a bacon cheeseburger which was really good! The polish sausage is really good as well. The bread was soft and I would definitely order again. Service was good and timely. No complaints!

We stopped at this location today, we like Portillo’s as they are consistent with service and quality and like the food. Street food fare here if you are not familiar, specifically Chicago food. Chicago style hot dogs which we love, Chicago beef sandwiches that are decent, good fries, sausage, burgers and their cakes. I tried the cheeseburger for the first time and was pleased. It think it’s 1/3 lb and char broiled. I liked it. We had a hot dog and garden salad as well which also came with some bread and butter which is nice. The salad was fresh tasting. A nice location and fortunately we came at a slower period. A standard Portillo’s and we’ll stop again if we are in the area.

I went with a large group. We all ordered different meals and overall we were quite happy with what we ordered. I wish they had Gluten-free Hoagies but the bowl I ordered was good. The fries with the cheese dip was also quite good.

The food is always delicious, but I pretty much always have to wait a long time for my food. I went through the drive through (twice) yesterday, thinking that it would be quicker, but no such luck. The first time I was the only one in the drive-thru lane. The second time was around dinner time and everyone was getting upset at the wait. I always enjoy the Chicago Dogs and Burgers. Italian Beef and fries are good too. A little pricey, but again, very tasty. I gave 4 stars for atmosphere because although the decor is nice, the acoustics are bad and it’s loud in the dining areas. For the online menu, I had to click each item individually to check prices instead of having all of the prices on one page to more easily compare.

Look at this beautiful Italian beef with all that giardinera! I’m constantly trying the Portillo’s restaurants as I come across them outside Illinois and this one did not disappoint.

Really cool design inside. Lots of American political history from the Chicago chain. I just tried the fries and they tasted like a better version of White Castle fries. Fresher, more real, less salty and greasy, and crunchy but creamy on the inside. Really good. They messed up our order but the food was good and they fix it.

This Portillo’s is certainly not up to par with the Chicago and Merrillville locations. Every time we eat here it’s worse. Waited 25 minutes for an Italian beef, fries and drinks. Restaurant was not busy. Paid $2 for hot & sweet peppers and received a teaspoonful. Fries were cold. And had to ask for the drink as it was not served with the food. Table was dirty. There’s no reason this eatery couldn’t be better…needs new management? Or someone who cares…idk.

We had our small wedding reception here in April 2024! The staff and everyone at portillos was amazing. I loved how clean it was, and they accommodated all my wedding wants from cheese fountain, to waters for everyone and the bar to be used. They even packed up all the food and gave us a souvenir wedding gift to take home. They let me bring in my own cake and set up my guest book/card table 🙂 communication was excellent with texting and emailing Robert the manager. He was excellent and food/ service was superb! They even gave us a worker to help set up everything we needed and kept the buffet keep coming and nothing went wrong. They were very sweet and personable and so happy we had it there! Zero stress for me on my day. I would recommend 100percent. I was so happy and my husband and I will always be coming back. Thank you for the best wedding night ever.
