It all started with Dino, the manager — exceptional hospitality and extremely efficient service from the moment we walked in. Then came our server, Shuyang — I have never seen a server with such a joyful personality and genuine energy. She made our evening truly memorable.
And our chef, Charlie — what can I say? I’ve been to Benihana countless times, but Charlie runs circles around every one of them. His attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to cook exactly as you request is top-notch.
Thank you, Charlie, Dino, and Shuyang, for a wonderful evening. We will definitely be back and will recommend this restaurant to all our friends, family, and colleagues!
We ordered TOO much food. I wanted to try so much, since their menu is quite large. You can have other food completely if you don’t want to have Habachi. We ordered the Green Mussel, Softshell Crab, Black Cod, 2 Rolls Special (Cowboy and SOB Roll), Kids Habachi, and One Habachi Entree.
Tried the Ribeye and side of Salmon, and with the kids we got the New York Steak. One thing I really liked was the crispness of the fried rice. The sauces that come with it, I didnt find very appealing, but I liked the Salad and soup. Soft shell crab was the only item that was a miss for me. It felt like there was too much batter. Ribeye, Salmon, was pretty good.
Everyone was quite nice, and they have a lot of staff to make sure your water is always filled, and that your table is clear if you are done with something. It is a bit of a drive 20 min from the strip, but the price of the food I can say is quite good compared to a lot of high price Japanese Places around the strip. It is a pretty big restaurant and there is plenty of parking.
My youngest son is special needs and a VERY picky eater and we’ve always brought him a lunchbox so he can still enjoy dinner with us out at a restaurant but have food he will eat and it’s never been an issue .. tonight we come in for my older sons bday and got asked to packed up my special needs som food we brought and told he can eat later when we leave here because they don’t allow outside food and I said we have done this for years due to his needs and they refused to allow him to stay and eat and celebrate my sons bday but said he can stay but can’t eat the food we brought . So I then said , so my youngest can watch all of us eat but he can’t eat all because he has his own lunchbox of food ? I packed up and left . It really isn’t that big a deal considering we were buying multiple plates of food tonight for our family .. I get the rules but my little guy can’t help it he has special needs and very picky eater. He doesn’t understand your rules .. Do better ! This is bullshit considering we eat here quite often but we will never be back now .
Watch out any parents with special needs kids you can’t bring in any extra food for them to eat so they can eat with you . People need to do better and learn to understand things and needs of others who aren’t like them.. I guarantee if they had a special needs child who was picky eater they would get it and these kids deserve to feel included too not told they can’t eat with their family but can sit there and ole at there food at home while
They sit and watch all
Of is eat .. one pissed off mama right here !!! Never would I do that to my son .
Not to mention they saw us walk in with this food , they sat us at a waiting table and watched the food on the table
Yet waited to tell us all
This after we waited 20 min for a table and then was gonna order food before being told this ..
I ordered to-go. This review is solely based on sushi roll order.
Upon entering was greeted by smiling and friendly staff.
What I ordered:
1.) Rock & Roll $14.95 this roll was wrapped in shaved cucumber instead of seaweed the fish was fresh but lacked flavor.
2.) Tsunami Roll $12.95 deep fried but outer portion was not crunchy cream cheese was not softened enough just ok.
There are far more superior Sushi establishments if you are craving sushi.
