This is quite possibly the largest Pita Wrap I’ve had in my life…

The menu is uncomplicated and classic, and everything is done incredibly well! This casual spot is perfect for a quick and satisfying lunch!

My partner got the number one pita wrap and fries and I got the number two. The bread was fluffy and fresh, the produce was crispy and flavor, and the chicken was steaming fresh, right off of the rotisserie!

I added harissa sauce since I’m a fan of a little kick, but my partner preferred the less spicy basil aioli- both had astounding flavor!

If you’re looking for the step above a food truck but don’t want to go to a stuffy restaurant, this is your spot- clean, well done, and delicious.

Holy bananas – soooo I moved to Denver after 12 years in Chicago so I’ve been spoiled with good food for a long time. That being said, Denver has disappointed me in terms of killer cuisine no matter how cheap or how expensive – I’ve had a mid experience everywhere no matter the neighborhood.

First time today at Sonny’s and WOW. Huge falafel sammie, smokey baba ghanoush, so many freaking amazing sauces!

10/10 will be returning

This family owned business is incredible. It’s owned by a husband and wife duo. The food is so yummy and good size portions. It’s is responsible price and the flavors are out of this world. I finally found an amazing falafel in Denver. This place is a must check out.

I manage a few properties in the highlands and keep coming back to Sonny’s Mediterranean. It absolutely deserves five stars…every visit feels like a warm welcome paired with unforgettable food. The flavors are bright, fresh, and clearly crafted with care, from the perfectly seasoned shawarma, roasted chicken, quality salads and creamy hummus that’s impossible to stop eating. The staff treat you like family, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between casual and inviting. If you’re craving Mediterranean done right, Sonny’s is the kind of spot you’ll find yourself returning to again and again.

Sonny’s is my go-to favorite for relatively healthy and delicious takeout. I crave the pita sandos (#1 with chicken, love the Israeli pickles) and falafel a couples times a month.
The baklava is great too. They’re always fast and friendly when I come by to grab food. Highly recommend

I got Sunday breakfast delivery from here, and they were very accommodating of my allergy. Not only that but the food was DELICIOUS. I got the lamb sandwich, biscuits, and the breakfast hummus bowl. Super impressed and will definitely be trying lunch/dinner options soon.

Sonny’s is really good and a super healthy option! I think of it more like an American-Mediterranean fusion since the chicken is whole cooked rotisserie style and the flavors are Mediterranean. The taste is super well balanced and always really fresh. The half chicken and hummus bowl with falafel is a perfect lunch or dinner to share with another person and is so healthy and delicious. The lamb breakfast sandwich is so unique and the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in a while. It’s only served on Sunday, and worth trying if you’re in the area. Overall, it’s a really solid spot for a Mediterranean inspired spot.

Well, isn’t this a hidden secret? I say that because we discovered the food AND happy hour. We even did separate trips for each. Both are worth going to solo or combined. I am not even the biggest Mediterranean food fan. But, the wife talked me into going, and I was floored with the excellence. So I had the Pita Sando #3. You get three options for content. Let me first just say that the portions are luxuriously huge. Wife had the chicken harissa and loved it. We also shared the hummus. She did the vegetables, I did the delicious pita bread. Their open air cooler is WAY cold. Great staff. Counter service, and it seems easy accessible to go back up for the OTHER part. The Happy Hour. If ever in the area of this adorable street and aren’t even hungry, just swing by. Great pricing. Wine is half priced, craft draft beer is $5 (varies), and Peroni’s are $3.50. Definitely recommend, and see you there.

I have to add a brunch review, as it was our first time doing that here…

We had been here for the great lunch/dinner food, but found out they did breakfast too. What a great call. Counter-service, great vibe, indoor seating with a couple of outdoor seats. I am providing more pics on this review. I got the breakfast lamb, egg, and cheese sandwich, and wife had the breakfast bowl. We each loved our choice, and they were totally different styles. My sandwich was messy beyond all belief, but the awesome deliciousness overcame any problem of multiple napkins. I will be back for that particular item. It is counter service, and they have various bottled drinks. We got two kinds of kombucha (blackberry and strawberry basil I think?) and they were unique and delicious. We even got hummus to go since my wife loves it a LOT. They didn’t have hot sauce during my visit, but they typically do. Neat little block to walk, and they leave dog treats outside, as an example of their attention to detail for customers. Don’t forget that they have a happy hour with great drink specials too. They are two for two with my visits personally, and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend you stopping in, and see you there…

There are very few, if not two places where I have had a falafel sandwich and enjoyed it or it was as good as the ones I have had at Dead shows and east coast. Their rotisserie chicken is so tasty. I mean should I go on. The hummus smooth, creamy, excellent balance with the tahini. The pita, any salad. Always consistent. Can’t wait for my next falafel sandwich! Keep up the good work. Ty

After seeing this spot many times on Instagram we had to give it a try, and we were not disappointed. Far and away, the best things that we ordered were the hummus and chicken. The chicken was extremely juicy and tender, with crispy flavorful skin. The hummus was silky smooth and well-flavored too. The other items we had in the mezze platter were good too, but honestly couldn’t get over the hummus/chicken… Next time we’ll be trying some salads and pita sandos!
