My husband picked this place up a few days ago and it was such a pleasant surprise! We had the shrimp and steak tacos, both delicious but definitely try the steak! The elote was also delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful! Will be returning!
Update: we returned and ate inside. Space was sparklingly clean. The tacos were absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the strawberry yogurt with granola and it was perfect.

My boyfriend and I decided to try it for the first time today. I ordered the ground beef taco dinner and my boyfriend ordered the steak burrito dinner. We got a side of chips and salsa as well. Out of the Mexican restaurants in Lockport that we’ve tried so far, La Michoacana is definitely the best! Everything was fresh and delicious and the portions were huge. We ordered to-go, but the inside was super clean and nice and we liked how they had an ice cream bar too. We’ll be back in the near future for sure!

This is a hidden gem in Lockport for Mexican food. I don’t know how this place isn’t busy all the time. The restaurant is always spotless. The staff is always super nice. The food is just amazing. The steak is actual cuts of steak and not braised beef. Free salsa with fresh made chips. The verde and rojo are so flavorful. The biggest takeaway is their prices are very fair and lower than the chains. Try this place out and you will not be disappointed.

Went there tonight with my daughter and got the steak burito bowl. The food was great. My daughter got the kids meal which was quesadillas and french fries. She loved her quesadillas and then of course ate some of my steak! The staff was super friendly. My daughter even stated how nice they were! The food came out promptly and we ordered some ice cream bars to have fir dessert when we get home!

Our family visited for the first time over the weekend. They have really good food! We didn’t have time to try the ice creams, but I want to go back and try some ice cream flavors we’ve never had before. They have the perfect menu of a few good staples and then, of course, treats and snacks. Great spot for lunch! We kept it simple since we were a group of 7, 4 of which were kids. We tried the chorizo, Al pastor, and ground beef tacos. I really liked the chorizo,. Which they make in-house! We got chips with sides of guac, salsa and yellow nacho cheese. The salsa and guac were nice and spicy… SO GOOD. The ingredients were super fresh, as well. The green sauce was delicious! Flavor was great. We’ll definitely be back to try some other things!

Overall experience was okay. I was not greeted or thanked. The place is clean, and spacious. I ordered the 3 taco dinner (steak) w/rice and beans and a large horchata water. Taco dinner was okay… I’ve had better. Horchata water cost $4.50. (Price not on menu).
