They are putting leftover meat from the previous day’s barbecue into the day’s meal boxes. This is disrespectful to the customer who is looking for quality, fresh food, and proper preparation. People buy meal boxes expecting something made right, and reusing leftovers like this breaks trust and lowers the value of the service.

Me and my family have been clients of this place for a very long time. Authentic Brazilian food and usually everything tastes good. Today I placed an order over the phone for pick up for two traditional Brazilian pastries, coxinha and enroladinho de salsicha. Didn’t check the takeout box at pick up and when I got home and opened it I saw this. The corndog (enroladinho de salsicha) was the most over burnt, ugly pastrie I’ve ever saw. Tasted terrible, soaking in oil and burnt to a crisp. Looked and tasted awful so I’m wondering how did someone looked at this and thought it was ok to sell it and not immediately trash it. Very disappointed. Aaaand my second option of Salgado was wrong so ‍♀️ just a 0 out of a 10 today.

I visited this place just because i found it in google maps one day that i was around the area, and i didn’t know what eat that midday, my experience was so-so, bc at the beginning i didn’t understand big part of the menu bc was in Portuguese, before went there i didn’t know that was a brazilian place, anyway i saw the menu and i ordered some plates separated (don’t do that never, always tried combo or all you can eat bc the single plates are super expensive, plates $8-$10 each and sides too and drinks $5-$8 if you order natural juices) in conclusion i ordered so much food and expensive at the final i didn’t like the burger bc was like with 6 or 8 different ingredients too much for me, but the fries and the mango natural juice was astonishing.

Also i bought a ice-cream was nice but no the way that i recieved one, was a little embarrassing bc my native language is Spanish and i was talking in english bc i don’t speak Portuguese and i don’t understand at all so the cashier that day make a sarcastic joke with the another cashier like “huh, he speak in english” bc i looks latin, was super umconfy but anyway the another cashier treat me super good in english and I could pay my ice-cream

I’ve been a customer of The Carn House for over 5 years. I’ve always been patient, even when my açaí orders came wrong or full of ice. But what happened today is unacceptable in any place that serves food.

My açaí came full of ice chunks again, as it has happened MANY times before, but I always let it go because I genuinely liked their açaí.

The worst part: I found a HUGE piece of HARD PLASTIC INSIDE MY PASTEL. Yes, a giant piece of plastic inside the food. This is extremely serious, dangerous, and completely unhygienic.

The staff was surprised, but the restaurant did absolutely nothing.
No support, no solution, not even the consideration of removing it from the bill. As if having a giant sheet of plastic inside the food was normal. I paid the full amount, left, and decided to write this review because I didn’t want to embarrass the employees, who were kind. But the feeling was horrible. It is unacceptable for a restaurant to serve food with plastic and not offer even the minimum.

It’s very sad to see a place where I’ve been a loyal customer for so many years treat people with such disregard. In a way, this situation opened my eyes , they had already been careless with my açaí for a long time, but I never expected things to reach this level, or to get even worse.

First time. We have been wanting to try this place out for a while now. We were not disappointed. The Steak Burger was great! The chicken Coxinha was amazing! We also got a Brazilian steak platter that was very good. I highly recommend the sandwiches and pastries!

Cornhouse had great service—attentive and friendly throughout—but the quality of the cuts I tried just didn’t live up to the standard I expect from a Brazilian steakhouse. Some meats were flavorful, but others were dry or lacked seasoning, and overall it left me underwhelmed. Not a bad experience, but not the best Brazilian steakhouse buffet either.

I’m not local to the area, and the food itself just wasn’t to my liking. It had absolutely nothing to do with the food in general, I was just not accustomed to eating this style of food.

The buffet option has lots of choices if a bit steep, so get your fill! Staff is very friendly and the food is tasty.

All you can eat was very worth while on Saturday. The general offerings were fresh and abundant, with a good variety of meats available from the grill. Best Picanha I’ve had anywhere, more authentic than this only in Brazil. Obrigado!

I recently returned from spending a month backpacking in Portugal. This was the best thing I’ve eaten since I got back. It was also nice being able to say obrigado again!!
