Ordered a delivery with a delivery estimate of 35mins… Had to ring back over an hour later to be told that the order docket had been “left on the bench” and was only now being cooked. Hardly a hint of apology nor offer of any refund so decided to wait and see if anything ‘extra’ might have arrived, or even a sincere apology delivered by the driver on behalf of management, but no – nothing. Pizza was ok but certainly not worth the wait or lack of anything resembling an apology.

The service at Venezia was fantastic from start to finish. The staff was very attentive and helpful. However, the food was a bit of a let down. The seafood Marinara was alright, the eye fillet steak was disappointing. Although good sized it was too thinly sliced and difficult not to get overcooked. Overall, it felt pub quality steak at best. This restaurant might be better for pizza than steaks because the pizza does look good and smells great.

Pizza 3 months ago – FANTASTIC. Two weeks ago – not nearly as good – I think a couple of guys have left. But worse still, the (old) owner is rude and insults his customers. I mentioned that I knew the price of the pizza (was told when placing the order) and he had to tell me “I’ll do the pricing”. Are you kidding! That’s how he runs a business.

I took away the El Greco pizza yesterday! It was just delicious!!! The slow cooked lamb, the fetta, the Kalamata olives, and everything else on there were made this pizza 10/10 for my taste buds!!! I’ll definitely go back for more!

One of the best pizza joints in Hobart ! Tried their veg pizza ( take away ) here for the first time , and must say , it was amazing . Family pizza can easily feed two adults with leftovers . Pricing also wasn’t too bad , $30 with delivery in Uber .
The cheese , sauce , toppings 10/10 . Although the pizza was delivered to us , the pizza was intact .
Will surely be ordering from here again .

The staff were friendly but wasnt happy when one meal came out then the other meal came out 15 mintues later. You go out fir tea with friends you would like to be eatting the same time. You either ate in from if them or you wait and you meal is cold before your friend gets theres. Then i got lassana and it was not good. There was meat on the bottom but not inbetween each layer of pasta. I have never know a lassana only to have meat on the bottom and only cheese sauce in between the pasta shetts. I wasnt even asked if everything was ok with the meal when the got the plates. If that was me and i seen my plate had hardly been touched i would have asked if ecerything was ok.

To all following me, I ordered pasta and went after half an hour to pick as advised. Upon arrival, i updated my order but they had no idea, called other person and no idea, even called the lady who took the order and updated the name , converaation as allergic to eggs and what was her response and she did not know anything which seemed to me like everyone was running like chicken without heads as it was busy. Finally after 5 minuted someone bought the pasta as it was hidden somewhere and I got to take it.
Finally at home, the taste of pasta was blend , not really cooked properly and had no flovour and first time I had to leave the pasta half as it was so dry even after we said to add extra sauce.
I am just amazed how does this shop has so many customers and have so many good rating. Don’t take me wrong but either they have not tasted a nice real Italian restuarant or this is the highest standard they have seen in this city.
I was disappointed with the food, service and the way they run around without taking responsibility.
Hope others get good experience.
