zinqué is a beloved neighborhood hotspot & all-day restaurant serving French-inspired dishes, small plates, craft cocktails & a uniquely curated wine selection. Inspired by the zinc countertop bars & cafés of Paris, many of its customers consider it a second home—a place to work, linger & socialize. Open from 7am till late, the space transforms from a European-style bistro & café, serving full breakfast with La Colombe coffee drinks & its famous Le Bowl for lunch, to full service dining at night. Live music, guest DJs, art workshops & wine tastings also make it a favorite community hangout. (zin-kæ)
Hip eatery featuring French-style eats, a contemporary interior & a dockside patio with a fire pit.

The starters were perfect for sharing — the salmon nikkei tartare was fresh and bright, the fried artichokes were crispy with just the right amount of richness, and the dips with warm focaccia were dangerously good. For mains, the steak-frites was cooked perfectly and paired well with the sauce options, while the sea bass was light, flavorful, and plated beautifully. The chickpea curry was also a great option for both seafood lovers and vegans at the table.
Dessert was the perfect finish. The chocolate mousse was rich without being heavy, and the strawberries & cream felt fresh and balanced. You can tell real care goes into both the menu design and execution.
On top of the food, the atmosphere was lively yet cozy, and the service was attentive without feeling rushed. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations.
If you’re looking for a place with great vibes, quality food, and a menu that feels special, this spot absolutely delivers. Will definitely be coming back.
Food is good and their drinks are amazing!! Their cocktails are wine based so we weren’t sure in the begining but we’ll loves their Bloody Mary!!
Dog friendly. They offer water and treats. I ordered scrambled eggs with no seasoning for my dog.
The salmon tartine was the standout. Generous slices of smoked salmon, perfectly cooked soft boiled eggs, fresh dill, capers, and a little crunch on top that gave it great texture. The bread was nicely toasted and sturdy enough to hold everything without getting soggy. Balanced, flavorful, and satisfying.
The avocado toast was simple but well done. Chunky avocado with shaved parmesan on rustic bread. Fresh, clean flavors and not overloaded. A solid classic.
The only downside was the espresso, which tasted noticeably bitter and a bit over extracted. It didn’t match the quality of the food.
Overall, great atmosphere and strong food execution. I would just love to see the coffee improved a little. I would still come back for the tartines.
Whenever we have guests visiting from out of state, Zinqué is the first place we take them. It’s become our go-to “safe place” the food is consistently amazing, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the experience is always memorable.
If you’re a seafood lover, you must try the branzino. I’ve had fish all over the U.S., and I can honestly say this is the best branzino I’ve ever had perfectly cooked, flavorful, and unforgettable.
The atmosphere is lovely, with a relaxed yet elegant vibe that makes it perfect for anything from a casual brunch to a special evening out. Just a heads up: make a reservation if you’re planning to go on the weekend it’s a popular spot and usually fully booked.
Zinqué never disappoints. Highly recommend!
Still, the food was great.
On a Monday afternoon after the holidays, the restaurant was not even remotely busy. Food also came out cold which means it sat there for a bit. Don’t ever order the wings, absolutely saucy (not in a good way) mess.
Happy hour was so poor we went to Nobu.
Pathetic showing.
I’ve been coming to Zinqué since 2019,and it continues to hold a special place in my heart. The ambience is truly charming—elegant yet relaxed—with a beautiful view of the ferry that adds to the dining experience.
Our server last night, Rene, was especially helpful and attentive, as he always is. The service has consistently been warm and welcoming, and Rene truly enhances the experience.
One of Zinqué’s standout features is their impressive wine collection. We especially enjoy their Cabernet Sauvignon—it’s refreshing and pairs well with nearly everything on the menu.
Now, let’s talk food. Their flatbreads are a must-try, especially the zucchini flatbread which is still available and absolutely delicious. I do miss the mushroom flatbread—it used to be a favorite, and I wish they would bring it back. Same with the fried cauliflower, which was another gem that’s no longer on the menu.
For mains, the salmon is outstanding—perfectly cooked with a unique and flavorful pairing of eggplant that makes it truly one of a kind.
While I wish some of their previous favorites were still around, the current menu still offers fantastic options, and the overall experience keeps me coming back. Zinqué remains one of my top go-to spots for a lovely evening out
