Everything was extremely expensive for small amounts that I purchased the way they are going i don’t think this place is gonna be open very long this place is not inviting. The atmosphere sucks here. They don’t even attempt to make you feel comfortable.
And I can’t believe I got enough for like a small plate and it was almost $50 completely overcharged. I should have left everything. Don’t waste your time gas or money this place really Sucks big time
Been a while since my last visit and hoped they kept up the service and quality of food. Thankfully they have. Some new faces again, but friendly and helpful. Still some issues with explaining ingredients in English, but effort is all I ask for. Lechon was still amazing and they didn’t forget the sauce this time! My second item for my combo was a bit of a challenge again. I tried a soup/stew type dish which was mainly “beef” and beef parts, like tripe and intestines. Sounded good, so I went for it and it was tasty, but also found it had liver also. If you don’t like the taste of liver, pass this dish, but if you like “rare parts of a cow” this is the dish for you. I enjoyed it, but liver flavor was strong and a surprise that I wasn’t expecting so took a second to get acclimated. Rice was really cooked well and paired well with the food. Free soup was again one of the highlights. Will be back again.

Food is still pretty good and the service has thankfully gotten better, but still needs a little more work. English no longer the issue, but trying to translate the ingredients of the food into English was a stretch but not too bad. Number of dishes to choose from was limited, probably due to Covid so not an issue but that was why i wanted to know what the options were. Normally i just order lechon and a goat dish. Today i ordered the two item combo with beef steak, lechon (crispy pork), rice and free soup. The lechon and soup were spectacular. The beefsteak really good and rice was rice. The issue? No sauce for the lechon. Totally disappointed when I got home. I still ate the food, but really missed the lechon sauce. I’ll go back for the soup and lechon but will make sure to ask for the sauce before I leave.
