Stopped for lunch at Franks Pizza on Route 460 on a Sunday. The restaurant was filled with diners, but did not seem overly busy. Wait staff seemed to be handling the crowd fairly well. We waited awhile to have our order taken, but the food arrived quickly after that. Server checked back occasionally to see to our needs. The Philly Cheese steak was good with meat, onions, cold toppings, but I could barely find any cheese. If cheese was present, it was a smear of cheese wiz in the bun, certainly not cheese melted over all, as I expected. Food prep needed a little more attention, as tomato knife cuts were very irregular ,(huge pieces and very small) and I was served a tomato stem piece. My dining mate had an Italian sub, and noted it was delicious. Fries were very hot, crispy and delicious. I ordered half and half tea, and it was very artificial tasting. Second serving I ordered just sweet tea, and it was delicious. The restaurant seemed clean and well liked by diners. The decor at check out was children’s art work and ads to eat there!

Nice establishment. The buffet is good for the money. The food is hot and they keep it coming out fresh. Prices were very reasonable as well.

Had the pizza lunch special. This included a salad which was presented in a pretty fashion. The drawback was the copious amount of cheese on the salad. The 2 slices of pizza were sufficient for lunch. Needed some oregano or some kind of Italian seasoning to kick up a notch.
Very friendly servers.

Long time customer of this Frank’s location. Actually followed the owner from the Vinton location, which I pass to get to this location. This location is now under new ownership, which I truly didn’t know until receiving the “new” menu. Most items are the same, or similar, with a few exceptions. We were surprised to hear no draft beer was available, which I guess could change at some point since it was always available before. Also pita sandwiches are no longer on the menu, which were always my go to. So we ordered a club sub, which was just okay. Very thickly sliced meat, made it hard to keep together while eating, and bacon “crumble” versus slices didn’t feel like an upgrade. We also got the toasted ravioli which came out fresh and hot, and the marinara sauce was good for dipping. Didn’t try the pizza to see if it changed as well. All in all not a bad experience. The new owner was very nice. They gave the restaurant a minimal, but fresh look, and everything seemed clean. As a long time customer, I do miss some of the old, and honestly I think they should do more to let you know that this is no longer “Frank’s Pizza” of old, but a new restaurant with a similar name. But the new management seems nice, and I’m probably a little biased. Worth a try to new customers not expecting the old Frank’s.

We visited on April 1 & ordered the Sicilian Hawaiian Pizza & garlic knots & it was delicious. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but we did go in and order & the staff were very friendly. The place is under new management & so far their doing a great job. If we’re ever back in that area, we will definitely stop in & try it again.

Since under new management, they have changed recipes on the negative side. It’s not as good as it used to be. They also have cut back on quantity like the salad used to have two tomatoes, two cucumbers, etc. now it only has one of each and their homemade dressing seems to be watered down. They also started charging 4% for you to use your credit card. Really like them, but extremely disappointed. Trying not to use Them and find someone else who has lasagna. What a shame.

Our whole experience was very disappointing and unprofessional. Our order was wrong and included allergies I disclosed while ordering. My kids could hear yelling in the kitchen over their allergies. I was charged the same price for a 6 inch kids meal and a regular cheese steak meal. $18 for 2 very different size meals. When ordering, I told the staff I would share with my daughter if there was not a kids cheese steak option. She said they could do it, when I went to pay I was charged full price. When I questioned it she said oh, I ask the owner I can not change it. Either way it was not a pleasant meal.
