Lamonte Gelato specializes in Italian style gelato made in house daily, offering a lineup of up to 17 flavors and house made waffle cones with gluten and dairy free options. All of our recipes include carefully sourced, high quality ingredients with no fillers to evoke the flavors found in some of Italy’s finest Gelaterias. House specialties include home made waffle cones (and dairy free/gluten free cones) seasonal rotating gelato & affogato. What goes better with gelato than Italian espresso? We pair our sweet treats alongside a fully stocked espresso bar with Lavazza Gran Espresso. Located on the De Soto side of the Historic Sacred Heart Building. All products on site are dye free.

I love it here. A warm, welcoming space with easy ordering at the counter. Excellent signage throughout the building to find the suite. A variety of seating options for all body sizes. It meets all of my very high standards for excellent accommodations. And, of course, the gelato is delicious with options from fresh and fruity to rich and decadent. Absolutely wonderful.

It’s really hard to find places with good dairy free options that aren’t just sorbet. The DF chocolate and matcha coconut were SO GOOD. It could’ve gone a little bolder on the matcha flavoring but the coconut had a chance to shine through. Highly recommend when craving a treat! Will be coming back for sure.

This place is a little pretentious, but they are staffed by friendly people who understand the menu and provide excellent gelato, a very good thickness and development of flavors. We tried a lot of flavors! Very good flavors include the Belgian Chocolate, Strawberry, Cioccolato Alla Menta, Pistacchio, Biscoff Cookie Butter, and the surprisingly great flavors of Florentine Cream and Cardamom & Kaffir Lime Leaf. Don’t be afraid to try their stranger flavors! The price is about what you would expect for a gelateria downtown. They also do not use artificial dyes and flavors in their ice cream,so it is cleaner.
