I haven’t been to South Bay Galleria in YEARS and decided to check out the food court for lunch on Saturday. The mall seemed kind of dead, and this was the busiest place at the food court, so I decided to give it a try.
It appears to be a mom and pop shop that’s been around since 1986, so it must be good if they are still here. I got the #11 Chicken & Beef Teriyaki, Shrimp Stick & 2 Gyoza for $15.99 so I could share it with my toddler.
The food didn’t disappoint. It was freshly cooked and wasn’t overly drenched in sauce or too oily like in other places I got at Del Amo. I chose steamed veggies instead of salad, and I liked how it was bland and not seasoned, so it was refreshing against the saltiness of the food.

Clearly racist of some sort, I asked for teriyaki sauce and offered to pay and they denied me service and said they couldn’t do that when they clearly could, don’t even think of coming here I’d recommend going to the mongolian BBQ spot which is respective and offers great service rather then mean and disrespectful gazes.

The ‘owner’ here is prejudice.. I watched him rush to take the order of and serve an Asian person, but he made me stand in line to wait for no apparent reason, while he just strolled back and forth slowly as if didn’t see me standing there..
Then, he proceeded to take my order, but persisted with walking back and forth doing misc. tasks to make himself seem busy.. he kept having to say ‘huh??’ because he chose to pace around while i was telling him what i’d like to order. His arrogance led me to just walk away and shop at Mongolian BBQ which was a way better option in my sincere opinion..

DO NOT EAT HERE! I wish I could give ZERO stars! First of all, the Asian man taking the orders is super disrespectful! I was telling the cook the correct number for my order because the Asian man said the wrong one and the Asian man had the audacity to tell me to be quiet and sushed me 3 times! Despite him doing that since I didn’t want to argue I still got my order. Food looks like it’s been cooked 4-5 before and is constantly being reheated. As I inspected my side “salad” and tossed the wilted lettuce I found a hair in it. Immediately took it back and he refused to give me back my refund. After going back and threatening to call the police he finally gave me my money! Ridiculous

Hello Tokyo grill employee named Michelle would not sell us a side of vegetables. She just discriminated against me. There are no signs that state I can’t buy vegetables. I used to eat a lot whenever I was here but the lady is so rude. Even after paying for my meal when I asked for a new container cause mine leaky she just said “no!” And waved me away. Why give out leaky containers? So rude. I would give them a zero if I could.

They sold us old food and can be tasted. The chicken was over cooked and hard. The rice has lots of hardness like pebbles. Will not be coming back here.
