Fiance and I wanted a snack with our beers, so got two lbs of crawfish, corn, mushrooms, and potatoes from the food truck today (at Kirby Icehouse, Woodlands).
Mushrooms and potatoes were fine (hot and sprinkled with seasoning).
Corn was cold though (how?).
Crawfish… I opened the bag and was immediately put off by the smell. Took a chance and tried one anyway. Peeled very easily, but zero flavor, and luke warm at best.
Only edible after covering in more of the dry seasoning.
Witnessed other customers after us also make another walk up to the truck for extra seasoning after trying theirs.
Ate all 5 mushrooms.
We didn’t eat the corn at all after the first bite.
Ate 1.5 of the two potatoes.
Glad we didn’t get more than 2 lbs of crawfish….

A TON of food for a great price. Seasoned and spiced well! Was hesitant but AMAZING turn out Order to go and asked is they could make shrimp spicy on one of the boxes. She checked and asked they said yes! Thanks for accommodating my order. Will definitely order again and highly recommended.

Been here before for crawfish plenty of times during crawfish season, best around, the Eastside, hands down. From crab legs to shrimp boils, you name it, with different spice levels. First time reviewing here though… But when crawfish season isn’t in, atmosphere isn’t the same. Authentic family owned Louisiana style, Vietnamese cooking. Cons, Down side, no wings are sold here at all. You’d think to implement wings when your hot seller is out. And generally those shrimp and rice plates are average based on the taste. I just come here for crawfish mainly when in season. If you tried other Vietnamese spots you’ll understand what I’m saying. But rice can be too saturated with oil as well. Just my thought. But signature sauce makes rice taste better. No dirty rice here either? Not a bad choice around when wanting Cajun though.

2/25 Wednesday: Terrible customer service from the waitresses. Around 1pm I stopped by the older lady was on her personal phone laughing not acknowledging incoming customers and the younger lady was outside with her boyfriend showing public display of affection, she came in with an attitude because it was customers. While finally placing order I had to repeat it three times before I walked out because of attitudes/unprofessionalism. Based on the customer service I received today I won’t be back no time soon!

Picked up some food to geaux. The crawfish etouffe looked so unappetizing. It was very milky tasting and needed more crawfish and spices. The boiled seafood was decent. The shrimp were wonderfully seasoned. Everything else can geaux. I’m not sure why they didn’t answer the phone when I called in the order because they weren’t busy. All of the staff was outside smoking when the order was picked up.

I’m gonna try to keep this short and sweet… babbbbby go try them out.
Very reasonable prices, quick service, portions are great, and it taste amazing.
Now I will be taking a commute often for some boiled seafood.
Side note, we also got a shrimp poboy that comes with fries and shoestring onion rings, that in my opinion was just okay. I am from New Orleans so I’m biased when it comes to poboys. I do feel they were really skimpy on the fries.
But the boiled seafood, their geaux sauce and the special fried rice.. was AMAZING.
Don’t let the location fool u, the food is on point. I added pics, however we did bite off a piece of the poboy and I already split up the crab rangoons.. aside from that, everything is completely there.

The food had a good taste but the shrimp was not deveined and the red beans tasted like can beans – they should get Camilla brand or if they want can beans get blue runners. I am from Louisiana and I love Cajun food when it is right – sausage were great and the fried rice was good too.
