The first time we tried to dine here it was crowded and short staffed so we got up and left. When you are “hangry” a place with noise and crowds is not your happy place. The second time we were seated quickly and the service was just fine. You have a choice of the communal table with the hibachi grill chef or regular seating with an extensive menu of sushi and hibachi styles. As an app we started with the tempura shrimp which was crispy, served with some vegetables, and a nice presentation. The miso soup was a little bland and the salad, although with the delicious ginger dressing, was mostly iceberg lettuce. We ordered sushi and we must emphasize read the descriptions carefully. One of our rolls was chocked full of cream cheese which we did not care for and it was our fault for not paying attention. This is not a quiet restaurant; especially if someone is celebrating a birthday. But it is not supposed to be. We will return and be more careful with our ordering.

This is an amazing place to eat food and watch amazing tricks! One of which was a food volcano erupting fire! It has an amazing atmosphere and has a lot of things to look at while eating. I’m glad I ate and had a family reunion at this amazing restaurant! It’s grills has chairs which is a good way to meet new people. Plus they have many menu options, many of which are cooked on the grill in front of you!

Today we came here for my son’s 6th birthday and we could not have asked for a better birthday dinner. Our chef Ace was absolutely hysterical and we could not have had better guest at our table to make my son’s birthday special. If you were there and read this thank you again so much. The food was delicious and the staff was fantastic. Thank you all again!

Ace needs a raise! Best chef I have EVER had at any Japanese steakhouse, and I’ve been to many. He is funny and his food was outstanding! His jokes are incredible and he really made my daughter laugh. We will definitely be back!

Extremely Disappointed – Not the Experience We Were Expecting
We made reservations ahead of time for a birthday celebration with a small group of nine people. Upon arrival, we were seated quickly, which was appreciated and initially gave us hope for a smooth evening. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
While the cook at our table was friendly and entertaining, the entire experience was marred by poor communication and unacceptable service. The portion sizes were shockingly small—barely enough for a lunch portion, let alone dinner. My wife ordered chicken as her main course, and it was such a small serving that I had to ask the waiter to give her my portion just so she could complete her meal.
Our drinks were served at the very beginning of the meal and then completely forgotten. No refills were offered, and no staff member checked in to see if we needed anything at all. After sitting for another 30 minutes with no service, I had to go to the front and ask if we could get our check so we could finally leave.
While speaking with the front desk, I also pointed out that the table next to us—which included children—had been waiting over an hour just for drinks, and no one had come to their table either. The staff gave a half-hearted apology and brought us our check. They applied a 10% discount for the inconvenience, which we appreciated—until they ran our card and somehow “accidentally” removed the discount, resulting in a higher final total. We were told it was an honest mistake, but the entire experience had already left a bad taste in our mouths.
What was once a fun and dependable place for a family dinner and show has now become a shadow of what it used to be. The food is subpar, the staff seemed unbothered by complaints, and there was a general attitude of indifference from the team. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This is the best Japanese hibachi steakhouse I’ve had in a while.
The service was great, we got our drinks, soup, salad, and appetizer pretty quickly. Our drinks were never empty, the waitress was really attentive.
The food was great. The portion sizes were the same as most of these, plenty of food! The cook did good communication considering the fan and mask. No peas and carrots in the freshly hibachi grilled fried rice! For the food that had teriyaki sauce, they were very generous. The steak and chicken were cooked perfectly (that’s what we got).
This is the best one my husband and I have been to in a long time!!

Good food, but a Customer Service “miss” on my pick up order experience. I recently called in a pick up order and included several adjustments such as fresh salmon instead of smoked salmon on the Philadelphia Roll and no cucumbers or green onions. I later noticed I was charged an additional $3 on my order of two rolls. I stopped in the store to ask why this was and was told on Thursdays, no adjustments are allowed without an up-charge to which I replied it would have been nice to have been made aware of that during my order. The lady apologized for not fully explaining it and was fine to have me leave the restaurant (after I told her I was new to the neighborhood and looking for a sushi restaurant). In a town full of dining options, a customer service focused restaurant would have at least offered a free cup of tea or to reimburse me my $3- something – to which I would have replied, “not necessary”, but I at least would think a nice restaurant would have offered. They do not deserve a bad review because the restaurant is an asset to the neighborhood, but I will be getting my sushi elsewhere.
