It took me a lot to come onto Google and write this review, however I thought you’d should be aware of the service I’ve recently encountered, obviously you were not there at the time. I respect you and your business, have been born & raised in Brandermill since 1980. For countless years, have always had no issues. When I was on the road with a famous rock n’ roll band, I would always visit Taylor’s when back home visiting friends & family. I quit drinking alcohol over a decade ago. My daughter has a few classes a week next door to Taylor’s. To make a long story short, a few weeks ago, I was denied water by one of your new bartenders (she has dark hair w/ a fake diamond nose ring). I was waiting for my uncle to arrive because he loves your friend oysters. She said that I had to leave the restaurant because she was the ABC manager at the time. I remembered her from a few months ago when she denied a $20 bill to play the games, while she was taking money from another Man. I didn’t come to you at the time because I thought she was so ridiculous, I got over it quickly & left. I’ve always been 100% cordial to all of your workers until she absolutely disrespected me. I’m sure others will read this and feel the same way. Until she apologizes, my family & I will no longer be coming to Taylor’s. I have been a long time customer of yours, and you deserve the right to know how others treat people while working at your bar.

Cool little dive spot for lunch! Food was really good, not frozen nonsense, and the service was well above average. The lighting was a little dim and it’s clearly a bar for regulars, so we felt a little out of place, but that’s more on us than the business. Would definitely return for some cold ones and a game.

Looks like it has great burgers. I walked in with three others and it reeked is cigarettes. I turned and walked back out.
I get it’s a bar, but it said non-smoking on the door and it’s obviously illegal in restaurants.
It should not have smelled that strong if they don’t allow it.

Awesome meal and super friendly staff. The fried pickles come out as actual whole pickles, not the tiny bites you’d get some place else. Wait was only about 10 minutes and everything was delicious. Definitely recommend if in the Midlothian area and need a nice place to eat with quick service.

Taylor’s Restaurant is a cool little restaurant/bar, where it feels like everyone knows your name. Many regulars come in and hang out. The food is really good, which is such a surprise (a good surprise)!! The drinks are so well worth it (cheapest I’ve seen).
The employees are so nice and super friendly! They really enjoy working there!
The patio is a great place to sit and hang for a bit. The inside can get a little loud, as there are games, and pool. I mean… it is a bar, right?
Jennifer and Sam are by far the most efficient servers/bar staff ever. Always keeping it all together in the mad rush of things.
Edit… visit on 2.22.23 ordered drinks and appetizer combo and Grouper fingers… OMG. Soooo good!!

The food is amazing, the service is awesome. The regulars are pretty cool. I accidentally left my wallet behind yesterday and it had a lot of cash in it.. it was turned into the bartender without a single dollar going missing.

Taylor’s is a great place to eat, and it is one of the best places to grab a bite & watch a ballgame in town. They have great service, as wait staff is welcoming and accommodating. In addition, Taylor’s has the #1 Best Burger in Town

I enjoyed my time here. This place encapsulates the culture of the area. I walked in here for a burger and a couple of beers and the bartender asked me for my name and never forgot it after that moment.
I ordered the burger from her recommendation and was not disappointed because this place understands its customers. We want a good burger and want to wash it down with a cold beer. And I was not disappointed. It’s not that complicated and nor should it ever be.
I want to go back and wolf down the wings next with a beer, bring the heat Taylor’s.

This is by far my favorite bar EVER!!!! The staff is friendly, the patrons are friendly and the drinks are cheap. Fun fact: the food is AMAZING. I’ve never had anything from the menu that I didn’t like.
