To say I’m obsessed with this pizza is too Gen Z for me. To say I’m addicted is not my jam To say if I could marry this pizza I would is more my style. A girl who leans towards thin crust wood-fired I almost feel like a cheater. This pizza is shake your head good. You know what I mean, when you take a bite and shake your head in amazement at the deliciousness. Each bite, you can taste the love and dedication put into each order. The fact that the owners are the bomb is the cherry on top. Or should I say delicious ranch to dip in?

The pizza was amazing! I got the “Maximus” and added tomatoes. The crust was crunchy and fluffy while not overdone. I had enough for leftovers and they provided boxes. The owners were kind with big smiles on their faces. Very welcoming and delicious food.

I had never experienced Pinsa Bread Pizza crust before. This was excellent, light and airy, yet still crispy. We also ordered a Detroit style, which was thicker, more dense and chewy. We found a new go to pizza spot when we are in Bend.

I’m a fan of Detroit style pizza when it’s done right, but the challenge with some of the options in town is that the dough ends up a little overproved or not quite dosed right (flour/water ratio), so you end up with a dense and chewy crust particularly towards the center. Chonie’s however says “hold my beer!” and completely hits that challenge right out of the park! I had the best dang Detroit style pie that I think I’ve ever had. Just awesome. Nicely crisped crust, a bit crunchy yet airy. Just delightful. Good toppings and sauce flavors, as well as cheese proportions too. Top notch, I will definitely be back.
