So i’ve been coming to this hungry howies for about three years. My daughter is autistic, and she only eats selected foods from select places this being one of them. She’s very particular about her cheese and this location nails it every time!
I just want to say that every time I come here, there’s one particular kid there I don’t know his name, but he is so sweet, so kind and it seems like he works his, butt off. My pizza is made perfectly every single time and every single delivery driver or anybody else I’ve ever came into contact with has been nothing but kind. I will forever come here! Thank you for always making my babies tummy happy !

UPDATE: Did not like the macaroni pizza, either need to add some buffalo or they need to do like the pretzel crust pizza with a cheese sauce. Great little place with great pizza, their flavored crust is amazing! We got two medium pizzas and a 3 cheese bread for $21.92 pretty good deal. When we ordered they said it would be 20 minutes and I got there in 20 minutes it was coming right out of the oven, perfect. Looks like they have pick up spots outside must bring your food out to you. Definitely recommend Hungry Howie’s and I think more pizza places should have fantastic flavored crust!

This location will mark things as on the road when they haven’t even left the store. I’ve had 2 terrible experiences with this location as far as delivery goes. One time they forgot my order entirely, despite marking it as on the road. It took almost 2 hours for them to correct. This time I placed a delivery that I had to call about as it was marked as “on the road” for at least 20 minutes. When I called I was told it hasn’t even left the store yet. I’m sure this pizza will be cold as well. Never again. Don’t order from here unless you want to fight to get your food.

I’m going to leave this review and be done with this place I have given this place multiple chances however for some reason I always feel like I’ve wasted my money. I always spend good money here and tip. Tonight because I’m exhausted and didn’t feel like cooking or going anywhere else I ordered two medium pizza added extra toppings including extra cheese 1.69 for each additional topping my order was 30.77 the one pizza was ok but the second pizza looked picked over and it sure doesn’t have extra cheese on it total waste so yeah I’m good.. I will not be spending any more money here period. I’m so over restaurants charging high prices and not serving quality food stuff is way too expensive and tight . I could’ve made a frozen pizza at thus point for real and this is not the first second or third time I’ve experienced this.. However it will be the last.

I am beyond disgusted with my recent order from Hungry Howie’s. The pizza was thrown together like they didn’t care at all, but the worst part was the calzone literally covered in hair. That is not just careless — it’s completely unsanitary and unacceptable for any food establishment.
This location clearly has serious hygiene and quality-control issues, and it’s honestly alarming that food like this is being served to customers. I wasted my money, my time, and ended up with food that was in no way safe to eat.
I will never order from this location again until they make major changes. Absolutely disgusting and extremely disappointing.

Apparently they close at 9 on Sundays for maintenance when the lions just happen to be on at 8pm. At least be honest with your customers if you can’t handle the orders. I’ve worked at pizza places as a young guy, we see what’s happening. Do better

The worst place ever.They charged me $7.99 for delivery,when on line it’s $4.99 I live one block away.There rude and refuse to help you out and the owner will never call you back,as he”s to busy lining his pockets.If there a franchise like stated,they will surely lose much business.I would not recommend the Grosse Pointe Woods Hungrey Howies,as they really suck.The reply from owner is just so they look good.They will do nothing.They need that extra $3.00 to make up for there Business loss.Do not reply to me again with your bull

My husband just ordered a deep dish pizza with green pepper & ground beef.
He came home & the pizza had Italian sausage & green pepper.
We do not eat pork products.
The pizza was also slightly undercooked.
Husband also mentioned that the employee at the front counter was less than enthused on being there. Very dry customer service.
The Italian sausage is significantly larger than the ground beef. Whoever made it should have been able to tell the difference.
Check your pizzas before leaving the premises. They maybe made incorrectly.

I had to change my review from 5-star because the last three times I ordered a pizza, the pizza
was not made correctly. It did not have enough cheese or topping, and it was overcooked. The pizza I ordered was supposed to be a pepperoni duo. Some slices didn’t even have a pepperoni.
