It’s a wonderful, family-run place with such friendly service. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions , absolutely delicious! We ordered 5 pieces of falafel and got 6, the chef said everyone should get an equal share, which made us smile. . He billed us only for 5 falafels !
The place had a steady stream of people coming in for pickups, which says a lot about how loved it is. Highly recommend for anyone craving fresh, hearty Mediterranean food!
I personally did not like the food. I feel like it could have used more spices to represent the food of the region better. We had 2 dishes and both could have used more flavor. They also don’t have regular/Tap water they will give you bottled water and charge you for it.
I will begin with the atmosphere. Upon entering, you are greeted with a clean diner set in lovely shades of teal blue and cream. The room is brightly lit so you will 100% see the food which you are eating. There is no second guessing whether what you ordered was properly cooked or not. The walls have brightly colored artwork which is appropriate as well. While we were there, lively music sung by first Umm Kuthum and then a Lebanese artist played.
Our order was quickly taken and within perhaps 15 minutes the food was in front of us. My husband ordered a kebab platter which included several kebab, salad and fresh Iraqi style bread. I selected grilled chicken which was lightly dusted with sumac, salad, tossed naan and fries on the side. Each of us had a yellow chili pepper alongside our meal while he also had grilled tomato halves and I had a few black olives.
We shared my fries which we both enjoyed. While I am not a large eater at most meals, tending to be more of a snacker, even with my husband sampling my platter, I still had a substantial amount leftover for tomorrow. Obviously, I packed it for my lunch.
We highly encourage everyone to give this restaurant a try.
Our bill came to about $50 for our 2 platters and 2 cans of Pepsi. The hot tea is complimentary.
**Sorry forgot to take Pic of my chicken:)
We will definitely visit again when in the area!
