I ordered the arrachea and the chicken. it was pretty bland if i’m being completely honest and didn’t taste at all of charcoal or smoke flavor. it was kinda disappointing. the meat was seasoned good, but they advertise and make it sound like it’s going to be this charcoal smokey goodness like at home but it’s not. they need to start adding wood chunks to their grill or something. They need to double down on what sets them apart from the other mexican places in Alsip. there’s plenty. The green salsa was good but the red tasted mid. overall they need to step it up in the flavor but the lady was very sweet at the counter. Im still taking my money to burrito Jalisco or el perez in oak lawn. those places taste a little bit better and for how expensive it is they win. I miss when this place was demon dogs and you could get amazing rib tips and fresh cut fries.

I went here because a friend recommended it. I went at about 1115 in the morning because I thought it would be fresher. I was wrong. The steak tacos were salty, dry, and chewy, but the guacamole was very good. It is a place that I will not return to. Maybe they were having an off day, because they do have a lot of good reviews. I will never know. It was very disappointing and the food went in the garbage (except the guacamole). Wasted my money and time.

Stopped by here for a quick bite to eat. The cashier is a bit cold & I ended up waiting for what seemed like 10 minutes at the register while nobody was manning it. There was this weird tension & I have no clue why, especially this early in the morning. As far as the food goes, it is made fresh with tons of ingredients. They serve really big portions so you get your money’s worth (albeit their prices reflect the portion sizes so they might seem overpriced to new customers.)
The chicken quesadilla is the best quesadilla I’ve had in a long time. The mixture of cheeses was perfectly melted & created the foundation for a superb quesadilla. The quesadilla includes two homemade sauces: a bland green sauce & a bland red sauce. The skirt steak burrito on the otherhand could use some work. The steak is super salty, the rice dry due to being undercooked (literally was almost raw rice) & it’s an overall bad burrito. They also packed the burrito with rice & only gave a sliver of everything else including meat. The only good quality is that the flour tortillas are warm & fluffy.

I do not recommend this place…First time going to this establishment and it’s my first and last time because when I open my order the chicken looked like they grabbed the leftovers of a table and put it on my order. Also they gave only 2 salsas for two orders

I liked the grilled tacos.. They could definitely use a little more seasoning but once you add a little salt and pepper they were good. The green sauce is very hot but good overall. Definitely worth giving them a try

Stopped in around 6:20pm and it was our first time trying this place out. The parking lot is well lit and they have plenty of parking and even offer a drive thru. Aside from the staff, the place was pretty empty but it was very clean. We learned that if you come in, Mon-Thurs and order a chicken combo, you get half a chicken for free. We ordered to go. The chicken combo comes with your choice of either refried beans or charro beans (we paid extra to have 1 of each) and it also comes with rice, a pack of tortillas, pickled onions, grilled jalapeños and two salsas. This was more than enough for our family of three. The charro beans and rice are REALLY good and the chicken is well seasoned, flavorful and not at all dry. This was our first time here, but definitely not our last!

Came here for the first time and I won’t lie the chicken was dry. I asked for more salsa and was told per the owner they were not allowed to give more than 2 unless I paid for some. Maybe if they gave more I wouldn’t have the noticed the chicken was dry.

Couldn’t be more disappointed, steak dinner was beyond horrible steak is tough and chewy, burrito same way. Couldn’t even bite through it, 2 tacos the same way. Not normal style .exican tacos and far from real arranchetta. Wish it was better as it’s so close to home, pic is of a taco in the steak dinner ?!?
