Excellent food and service. The rabbit rillette needed to come up in temperature a bit, as it was still quite cold and hard. Still five stars though. A really lovely dining experience (especially because even though I was on my own they treated me like everyone else).

On the pricier side (we spent close to 300 for two people), food is decent enough. The tartar was ok, burrata was decent (the beets were excellent). Steak was not as great as a steak can be, however the prawns were amazing.

Missed taking a few more pictures of this place but the food was fantastic all round. I really enjoyed the beef and chicken options they had here along with the mash potato. I wasn’t sure what to expect when initially arriving but pleased to say it was worth the visit!

Dinner was OK, but portions were really small. You are able to select the number of courses without limitations on which ones you can choose (good). Lots of stories about the ingredients (where they come from ,etc) and service was good, but in the end, seasoning wasn’t so great , lack of flavours and exciting ingredients. Also the wine selection could be much better, nothing memorable, and no champagne by the glass available. Prices were close to a star restaurant, but quality far from it, even though I can see they try hard (appreicated) but still points to improve.

We had dinner at Le Petit Royal when Grace Donely was a guest chef. My favourite were the mussels with a spicy sauce. The location of the restaurant is in very nice part of the city. They have astonishing wine cellar.

The waiters had grumpy faces. The salad arrived after the meal, imagine the service. I don’t understand why this place is so highly praised. Small portions, tasteless food, a weak menu. On top of that, unhappy waiters, terrible service…

We found this restaurant overpriced…
Pulpo starter was ok but not worth €29
Venison stew was basic, average stew (€39!) and mussels were in a bitter sauce with chips. Many of which were cracked and closed and I had to discard.
I wasn’t drinking alcohol and my husband had 2 small glasses of wine.
Tables were extremely close together, I am a slim person but it was difficult and awkward to get up and slide between our table and the next to get out.
We paid €200 and wouldn’t not return

Difficult to get a table, but once you are there you enjoy the perfect service and the quality dishes. French cuisine but from a very small menu card and a large price tag. That is why I do not give the fifth star. Otherwise a good meal and an enjoyable evening.

Very nice fine dining experience. The shrimps are a MUST!!! Steak was also very delicious. The whole atmosphere was pleasant and service was also very good. I have nothing bad to say. I will be definitely coming back!

On the corner of a side street in Charlottenburg, Le Petit Royal brings elegance and a price tag that is justified. The staff and service not formal yet classy. The crowd is elegant and on a Saturday night mainly over 50. The wine and food menus are well sorted. We tried three different white wines based on staff recommendations and they were excellent. We had the beef tartar, octopus salad, Burata and bulenta and they were all tasty. My Fish was perfect and the deserts were Devine.
The interiors are elegant, the toilets are well designed. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly. I would recommend for special occasions or an elegant first date.
