The only aspect of our visit that wasn’t a 5/5 was service. Our waitress was young, which might equate to inexperience. We were her only table, but waited over 15 minutes from the time we were finished eating until receiving our check (after making eye contact with her multiple times). While there were take out orders she was mostly likely assisting with, she seemed more distracted with her friends (or possibly younger siblings) who came in to visit than with serving us. I don’t want to knock her too much, as again, I think this can be chalked up to experience, but it did put a little bit of a damper on an otherwise perfect experience.
We will definitely be returning to Freshido to try other menu items in the future and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a casual, delicious, healthy, price friendly dining experience.
Their prices are more affordable than competitors, and overall the quality of food is decent for the cost. I recommend the black garlic ramen!
The black garlic ramen and Sichuan style Tantan broth were decent but failed to make up for the stingy portions. The pork was thin and tiny, the other toppings are average, and for $18 (tax included), neither would be worth it.
The Poke Bowl was shallow in contents and for all the myriad options it presents, you get a measly amount of all. The tuna didn’t seem too fresh from the bite I tried.
The music is average and they seem a bit understaffed, but the staff themselves are friendly and accommodating!
5/10. Not coming back here, and I feel like the portion sizes got smaller compared to the last time I was here, last year.
I’m sincerely not the type of person that needs to be fawned over, in fact I largely love to be left alone.. but your role here as a worker is a welcome and guidance to my order as I hadn’t yet seen in and it’s my first time in.
Note also that not one single other customer was in the building and no other orders are on the rack. So it’s not overwhelm at play.
When I came in the employee in the room briefly looked up from there phone and said nothing. No hello or welcome or seat yourself or smile. So I waited. Then I noticed my order on the rack by the door, confirmed the name was mine and shouted “thank you” – no look, no wave, no you’re welcome.
Ramen was good but not great. Spicy bowl was adequately spicy though. Much like the employee who couldn’t acknowledge me in the least. Spicy & salty.
Service was terrible. We had to call the staff multiple times just to get basic things like plates, cutlery, and even water. We dined in during happy hour and ordered directly from the happy hour menu, yet we were charged regular prices. When we noticed the issue after getting home, we called them and were told it would be corrected. It’s been 4 days now and there’s still no refund or follow-up.
Food quality was also disappointing.. noodles were burnt (as usual) and the portion size was very small for the price. Overall, a very frustrating experience.

It was an okay experience overall. Ordered the Drunken Noodles and Kung Pao Chicken both dishes had way too much of a burnt flavor. It was so overpowering that it took away from everything else. The spice level and portion size were good, but the charred taste made it hard to enjoy the meal fully. Hoping it was just an off day, but not sure if I’d rush back
