My husband and I tried 3 different Chinese food places in Manchester, 1 in Vernon, and 1 in South Windsor. Our standards are based on China Garden in Hartford that is absolutely peak.
This place was the absolute best compared to the other 4 places by far. We got gen tso chicken, fried rice, eggroll, and crab rangoons. The rice actually had veggies like peas and carrots, was flavorful and looked exactly like fried rice should. The chicken was surprisingly actually spicy, meat was tender, and sauce was tasty.
The crab rangoon filling was so tasty and the outside was crispy and light, like the little crispy things you get to put into soup.
My only complaint was that the eggroll wasnt very flavorful but duck sauce fixes that quick. (I was gonna eat it with duck sauce anyway).
This is my new Chinese food place for sure.

Im willing to drive 20 minutes from home because this is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! This is my second time ordering from here. I got the sesame chicken with veggie fried rice and a small beef lo mein. The chicken has this wonderful crunch to it and the sauce is so delicious. The rice is cooked to perfection. And the lo mein is soo good and more than plenty for a small. This Chinese food is so good that you can reheat it the next day and it’ll taste just as good as it did fresh! The flavors are fresh and its probably the only Chinese restaurant that hasnt made my stomach hurt after eating it. Totally worth the money!

I frequent this restaurant for lunch as it is close to my job. What keeps me returning is the friendliness of the staff. I am always addressed by name with a warm and friendly greeting. I have also witnessed staff going out of their way to serve others well. A big shout out to Sunny as well! She’s great. Thank you for the delicious food as always!

This was my first and likely last time eating at this restaurant. I found the Chinese restaurants you really can determine the quality food by the appearance of the restaurant. Very visually unappealing, very poor city like appearance. The food I did not like. Fried chicken wings were like southern fried chicken with an Indian spicing. The boneless spare ribs were dry and covered in a way too sweet sauce. The chicken fingers or decent but not much meat. Seriously delicious Chinese takeout, I highly recommend! I’m very picky when it comes to my Chinese food and this place did not disappoint. Flavors were there the egg fried rice was fluffy and had great flavor I love that they add the peas, carrots and onions. Chicken wings were nice and crispy and now drowning in oil, the general tso was delicious next time I’ll tell them not to add so much sauce. And the chicken lo mein was also delicious which I’m also very picky about! We have found out favorite Chinese food in Connecticut finally, we use to drive to Hartford but we won’t be doing that anymore!!!

Chicken Teriyaki-2/5 – Very chewy chicken as it was stale
Shrimp chow mein-4/5- Good quantity of noodles and shrimp and taste was ok.

Fast and Clean service. The food are also very good and authentic. The portion is filling enough with reasonable price. (no more than your typical junk food chains)
You also don’t have to worry about tips!
I recommend the lunch special menus because you will get fried rice with the food of your choice and soup or a can of soda.

So tried this place out yesterday as I always try to find a better Chinese place for take out. Overall not to bad. Definitly one of the better places I have had and I will definitly be going back. I got the boneless spare ribs. They were good, Not dry and had good flavor. Also got the beef and broccoli and glad to see that they keep it as beef and broccoli as some place add to many vegetables to it. They only added a few carrot slivers to theres but it was delicious. Also i got a pint of pork fried rice, Wasnt to bad. It had an ok flavor as it should. The place looks like it is well kept. I also like if when they have good packaging which they do. There online ordering was easy and quick. I liked it alot, it made easy to order. So I would definitly suggest trying it if your looking for good Chinese food.
