We are so happy to have BBQ delivery available now in Montclair! Our family ordered the Pen’s house ribs, Smokehouse Select ribs, and the Dragon’s breath ribs, with mac n cheese, coleslaw and green beans for sides. Everything was outstanding. Ribs come warm! From the website it looks like they use insulated carriers which made the difference. The ribs were outstanding. Tender, juicy and full of flavor. My wife’s personal favorite was the smokehouse, mine was dragon’s breath (prefer spicy), and the kids loved the house ribs. All three sides were excellent, mac n cheese with the crunchy panko was a hit, the slaw and green beans were crunchy and the coolness complimented the smokey BBQ. The owners are a local couple from Montclair and they certainly know what they are doing. We are already thinking about what we are ordering for the next round as it looks like their menu changes with seasonal options.

Amazing! We really enjoyed our dinner for two (no pork). The Hungarian Paprika Chicken was succulent and delicious and the blackberry crumble sublime. On top of all that, Charlie is extremely gracious and helpful. His advice is spot on.

Phenomenal! Our most recent order from Pendragon’s was for a small NYE gathering and it was absolutely delicious. The Hungarian ribs were the best we’ve had in NJ so far. Combine that with amazing sides and a true star in the Blackberry & Apple Crumble dessert, the meal was an absolute winner. Can’t wait to order again!

We ordered the Hatchling Jerk Chicken, an array of sides, and the tiramisu for a Saturday night dinner. Not only was everything delicious, my 4 year old has been asking for the chicken again nonstop. We will definitely be ordering from Pendragon’s Smokehouse again.

This is a stand-out addition to the food scene in Montclair! We ordered ribs, chicken, mac and cheese, rice and beans, and cole slaw, and they were all absolutely delicious. The meat was full of flavor and cooked perfectly, and the sides tasted fresh and homemade. The mac and cheese was particularly good – super creamy and rich. We topped the meal off with Tiramisu, which was a great choice. The ordering process was a breeze, and the delivery was on-time and friendly. We love ribs, so it was exciting to get to try this so early on in their adventure.. a new business by people with a love for smoked ribs. The verdict? Delicious! The presentation and all that was great, but even more so, that the food arrived hot and fresh, as advertised.
They don’t bury the ribs in sauce, but provide the sauce on the side so you can do it to your own liking. A variety of different ribs, each of which was tasty. I’ll order again!
