I love Sharky’s, and since I live in the neighborhood, they are one of my go-tos for a good burrito or fish taco. The team and service is also great. Just recently, I had an issue where I was accidentally given the incorrect burrito on my last visit, and Tony and Natalie (the manager) made sure to hook me up and make it right. They have a loyal customer in me!

Nice little spot in the arts district. I was craving some fish tacos and was hoping this place could deliver, and it definitely did. It was a bit quiet when we showed up but it’s Thursday so that’s to be expected. I saw they had some wild-caught fish tacos and found them to be exactly what I was looking for. Great quality food here. Pretty good service here as well, I had some questions and he answered everything that I had. Not a bad place to swing by if you get a chance.

Do not order from the online service. Somehow it got directed to Marina Del Rey location that is not near my house. I called immediately to cancel my order so the food was not made. The person I spoke with said I needed to cancel online but there is no option for that and that his manager would call. Later Amanda ( Manager) called to say she could not refund my money and they would give a free meal at their location. Since it isn’t near my house that is useless. The restaurants are not able to see my payment info so cannot issue refunds. Since there are no other options online the money is gone. Beware or make 100% sure of everything or else. The food is good, service is generally good but need to get their online system fixed.

Stopped in for my first Sharky’s visit ever this past weekend and enjoyed it more than I anticipated. As someone that was raised in San Diego and moved to LA in 2019 I have been looking for a good fish burrito and taco since my move, and surprisingly have not been able to find any in LA. I will say that Sharky’s has one of the better fish tacos that I have tried since moving and definitely want to go back specifically for that. They have locations all over California, even in San Diego, however, I never thought to try them down there. This location is new, large, and designed well on the inside with many different seating options. There is also a giant free parking lot attached so parking is really plentiful and easy. The prices are pretty fair and all the items came out quickly. Our server was also very polite even though this is an order at the counter type of place vs full waiter service. They have a great salsa bar with some delicious salsa; the avocado salsa was my personal favorite.
For my meal I chose the Fiesta Burrito with Carne Asada and a Fish Taco. The burrito was not nearly as good as the taco. The Asada was almost shredded, and didn’t have any seasoning really. The burrito was overall kind of mushy and the flavors just weren’t that great. The taco was great, however not quite a Baja fish taco but still a really good one.
Overall a really good and quick casual Mexican spot. I would not classify it as authentic Mexican food, but it’s still really good and worth trying. I plan to be back in the future to try more items.

My grandson works at Vons next door to the Marina location. He’s been trying to get me to try it. We’ll hot damn, the nachos were out-of-sight!!! Translation, DELICIOUS! I had the small portion that was enough for 2 people, the price could not be beat. My new favorite.

Only 1 person working in front ok I guess… nice vibe inside, but about $8 for one mediocre bland grilled shrimp taco with chips?!!? No thanks won’t be back, half the tortilla left stuck to takeout paper wrapper…chips were ok

I got delivery for the first time. It was amazing! Fresh firm fish grilled properly with a grilled lemon. The yams were the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely order from here again. Get the blanco cheese sauce. Delicious.

Stopped by Sharky’s as I continue my quest for the ultimate fish taco. I had the grilled fish taco and the battered shrimp taco with chips and their homemade salsa. The tacos were nice and fresh and 2 made for a good lunch. Their homemade salsa is thick and tasty. I also enjoyed their freshly brewed tea. The best part about Sharky’s is their menu! As a pescatarian who relies mostly on a plant-based diet, I was thrilled to see so many meat-free options that weren’t just an after thought or a salad. Cute, clean, and tucked away in a strip center, Sharky’s is a good stop if you’re shopping in Marina Del Rey. 4-stars due to the price. It was a little steep for two tacos.
