Been here 4 years in a row. The Super Sambo was great every year. The cat fish tasted great. The portions were more than enough for 2 people. And had left overs. Prices are seafood prices. It’s expected. The wait staff may need some adjustments. But the food over all is great.

I would not recommend this place to anyone. My husband and I were excited to come here until we got our food. He is from the south and appreciates good food and I lived there for quite a while. The crawfish were nasty. They tasted extremely fishy, as if the boil water hadn’t been changed in a while. My husband’s fried food had a nasty oil taste, as if the oil hadn’t been changed either. The waitress kept rubbing her fingers through my 1 yr old son’s hair and made us feel really uncomfortable. I had to wait 15 minutes for a certain lady to get off thr phone and run my credit card. Why isn’t everyone capable of swiping a damn card? Why just one lady who I’m going to assume is the owner. Then, to make matters worse, we drive home and within an hour I am puking sick so I’m pretty sure I got food poisoning. I’m extremely disappointed and I will not be returning. This restaurant needs to get their act together.

I loved the atmosphere and could identify many landmarks from New Orleans posted about the room.
I had the best jambalaya ever!! It was a good experience. The only disappointment was the coffee.
I tasted my daughters crab stuffed fish, it was amazing and so fresh. I wish I was closer to the area I would be eating there once a week.

Was reluctant to go at first based on some of the negative reviews. But I was surprised, though the portions may have been small, I felt it was just enough. The Catfish was so fresh I didn’t think it was catfish at all. The crawfish etouffee was very good. I loved the “Alligator’s Piss.” My wife got scallops, and they too were great.
Maybe many of the tourists that frequent here aren’t used to paying premiums for seafood, or they’re land-lubbers!
I loved our server, he was new, yet very friendly and helpful. I would have to say they should probably hire a better graphic artist though. I would definitely go back regardless.

The food was excellent! The wait staff friendly and courteous and the owners cared enough to stop by the patrons and asked them how their meal is/was. Atmosphere brings me back to the French Quarter. We will definitely be back again and again.

The wait was really long. None of the staff understood what a quarter was (needed change for meter). The chef was in the kitchen yelling the whole time. My kids meals each had 5 fries.it was a terrible evening. We also had to pay a tip for being a large party even tho service sucked

Waited too long and there was a family that came in and got their food right away while we sat for an hour. The food was like they took some raw food from the dumpster and quickly fried it up. There were no apologies from any of the people working there. It is now a week later and me and my family are sick. NEVER EVER going back!

FLYS. FLYS EVERYWHERE AND NO A/C!!! Waited much over 1hr for our food. I asked for a lemonade which I ended up having to change for something else because it tasted so awfully bitter. Once we got our food… the coleslaw was DISGUSTING, not simply bad but literally not edible, nobody in our table dared to mess with it. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE! Overall majorly bad experience.

We stumbled upon this place by accident but couldnt have been much happier! we started off by ordering a craffe of sangria to share. It had good taste and fruit. We then got the crab and shrimp fondue which was nice and had 6 pieces of delicious garlic bread. We then got the seafood plater that feeds 2. The catfish was amazing, good hushpuppies, 2 craw dads, 2 softshell crabs and a stuffed crab. All very good. Sit outside and enjoy a show from the clock tower!

Serving size is very small for the money! Service sucks and they add the tip on your bill so the server doesn’t care to serve you. Would not recommend this place to anyone! I will NEVER go back! They shouldn’t be allowed to compair themselves to New Orleans in any way shape or form! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME NOR MONEY!
