Lovely people, reasonable prices and best Bubble tea in town, hands down! Thank you, we’ll be back as usual
Edited to add: We’ve come back many times since my original review. We tried the large portion of Drunken Noodles. I shared it with my two daughters and it was enough. I’d say this would heartily feed two full grown adults easily. It was full of carrots, snap peas, peppers, onions and other greens. There was a lot of protein in it which was awesome. The noodles were an incredible flavor. Definitely will be back for these noodles in particular. As usual, the staff are incredible!

The food was sooooooo amazing and service was spectacular!! Serving sizes we great. My family really love the Penticton rice, pad Thai, green curry and drunken noodles.

Happiness Thai Restaurant may be a small place, but it delivers BIG on flavor and heart. The food was absolutely amazing – fresh, authentic, and full of rich Thai flavors. Every dish tasted like it was made with care and passion.
The service was just as wonderful as the food. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. You can really feel the love they put into both their cooking and customer service.
If you’re in Penticton and craving authentic Thai food, this spot is a must-try. Don’t let the size fool you – Happiness Thai Restaurant is truly a little place of happiness with unforgettable food!

Maggie makes authentic Thai food that’s delicious and brings justice to the cuisine here in Penticton! we got the lunch specials for pad Thai (tamarind) and drunken noodles. They come with spring rolls, taste great, & have good portions! We even went back a second time during our trip to eat before we left. If I was a local, I’d be regular.

Was amazed by the high rate of this Thai restaurant AND…. they are outstanding!! Wish I could give them more star. We ordered:
1) Pad Thai w/ traditional sauce — the best tamarind sauce I have ever had.
2) Tom Yum soup — really Yummy!! I don’t know if this is North East style
3) Thai Milk Tea — such a good price for a big amount, highly recommend.
Service is friendly. When the owner lady turned on a Thai song, it reminded me about a peaceful countryside in Thailand. Anyway, it’s nice to have a good Thai restaurant here. We will definitely come back for another try when being back to Penticton.

Our first food stop in Penticton from Vancouver as we just wanted something quick after a long road trip. We were so pleasantly surprised by how kind and sweet the lady up front was. The food was simple but delicious – exactly what we were looking for. Their Tom Yum is probably one of the best I’ve ever had. We got the lunch special sizes which we were told is smaller than their regular size but the portions were still very generous! We could tell immediately they value their regulars as the lady up front recognized and remembered the orders of a few different customers. I would definitely come here again if I visit Penticton again 🙂

Walked in to order take out and the wait was 30 minutes for pick up which is a great sign that the food would be good. And it was! Far beyond my expectations. I had the chicken fried rice and my husband had the pad thai. The flavours were exceptional. The chicken was a little dry but other than that I would highly recommend
And the bonus was that there was an ample amount of food for us both to have 2 meals each!

I’ll be honest, before I went to Thailand I didn’t even love pad Thai, and I have never found one since that I love anywhere else. Well wow. Their Pad Thai is absolutely phenomenal! The portions and absolutely massive, the prices are super fair, and the food is sooooo flavorful! We just tried this place a couple weeks ago and have already ordered 3 times

Hits the spot when looking for a little spiciness in your takeout but also mild enough for those who don’t want that too.
Good portion size.
I like that the curry includes rice. There have been times where I’ve ordered takeout from other places and have forgotten to add that on the order.
