Prateek Kurapati
Visited this restaurant on a Sat afternoon for lunch. The restaurant was empty and I was skeptic whether to eat in the restaurant or not. Just after couple of mins I was greeted with someone after a quick chat I have decided to eat. I ordered veg fried rice. The flavours are subtle and nice and I have got the taste of fried rice that one gets in India. I really loved the taste of the fried rice. Will surely visit some other time to have their non veg options.

Very bad taste. I order chole bhatura and you see the condition of the chick peas. Looks like rotten one and very hard to chew. No pickle or no salad complimentary. I ordered here by looking the review but my review is this and Won’t gonna order it again from this place.

The staff was extremely friendly while I waited for my food to cook, took it home and I couldn’t believe it….it was the best Indian food I’ve ever had. I will definitely be going back again but I think we will dine in this time as it’s so cute looking This is a must try spot! Once I try more food I will recommend more

We tried their food for the first time using the Too Good to Go app. We were given a nice portion of Channa Masala with rice. It was delicious. We also got a samosa which was tasty as well. We’re looking forward to dining there for a full meal soon.

They don’t make food fresh here. It’s pre made and reheated in the microwave. The rice was at least a couple of days old. The chicken korma tasted bland, old and almost sweet. But if you’re one of those that likes a pub curry this place is for you. If you’re looking for authentic tasting keep looking. The tables were greasy, the water glasses were sticky and the booth looked like it wasn’t cleaned in weeks.

I went with a friend to try out this restaurant after a referral from her nephew. We ordered Butter Chicken and a Veg Korma, along with Garlic Naan. The Naan was excellent, the chicken was exceptionally tender.
Spice is an issue with both of us; even the butter chicken had a very small amount in the sauce (but I have spice issues), and the Korma ordered with Mild spice seemed more like Medium. Again, we are not used to this. But not enough to not take home the leftovers 🙂
We also ordered a Mango Lassi and it was absolutely delicious.
The server was amazing. Kind, explained things well, gave us a lovely dessert that had been included in their opening specials. She was amazing, a wonderful server, kind, helpful, and a lovely person.
I would like to order take-out when my Indian-food-loving family come for a visit.

Did take-out this week when family visited. We ordered a ton of different dishes and there were no leftovers…..I knew ahead that my guests loved Indian food and you did not disappoint!!

I had an amazing dinner at Walland Indian Bistro! The Shahi Paneer was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, perfectly paired with soft and buttery naan. The lamb dish was tender and cooked to perfection. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the service was outstanding. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine. I will definitely be coming back.

The food was excellent, and the service was amazing! I’ve been having a hard time adjusting to the food in Canada, and the food served here felt like a breath of fresh air. Other than that, the service was great and the ambient was very lively, exceeded every expectation I had.

I walked in to order the samosa.chaat which was advertised on their Instagram just 5 days ago for $5. They told me it was $7. I showed them the price on their Instagram and I was told this was for their other location…I challenged them and reminded them it specifically says for WELLAND indian bistro..Then the story changed and he told me it was a grand opening special which ended.. I asked when did it end as it was posted 5 days ago (and noted the restaurant was empty and didn’t even look fully open). After arguing back and forth he finally agreed to honor the price with cash only and then was handed my now cold serving of samosa chaat..It was the smallest serving ever and didn’t taste that great. I won’t be back.
