Worst pizza I have ever had! No sauce on pizza, $4 extra charge for pepperoni and pepperoni was nothing special, garlic bread is absolutely horrible. It’s a sub roll. Split in half with oil, garlic, and Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.. I was expecting more out of a so called Italian restaurant. I was really hoping to have a real Italian pizza not just cheese and bread. No thanks

Best place to eat in Orange for quantity and quality, we wish we saw more people in Mario’s because it’s insanely good, it’s got some amazing Italian cuisine and you feel like you’re walking into Italy when you arrive, it’s a great place! The portions are HUGE, out of the 5 or 6 times we’ve come here we’ve never been able to finish, and it’s a pretty darn good price too! The staff are all very nice especially the owner, he’s very kind and always friendly, it’s a small town restaurant with big town quality, and I’d recommend anyone to Mario’s any day!

Visited Mario’s for a late lunch. I was welcomed and I seated myself in one of the large booths. The dining area was clean and laid out nicely. I ordered a small deluxe steak & Cheese sub. After ordering, I was served a small loah of oven hot bread- I was surprised at this since I only ordered a sub. The bread was very tasty. The sub arrived quickly and included fries. Everything was served hot and the portions were nice. The sub was perfect and very tasty. I left full and was very satisfied with the value. One detail worth mentioning concerning the bathroom (men’s)- it was very clean, and the faucet included hot water and paper towels. No trickling cold water and handdryers. I’ll be back and next time I will sample their dishes and pizza. It’s on my list and worth a visit.

Great small family owned dining atmosphere. Smells wonderful and eggplant parm came out fast and was delicious. Reasonable prices, extensive menu. Owner involved and pleasant to talk to.

NEW OWNERSHIP AS OF DECEMBER 2018 – EXCELLENT
Mario’s is now far more than a pizza place. It is a home of true Italian hospitality, where each guest table is offered a delicious warm, crusty, artisan loaf, made from scratch in-house that morning, and served with butter. (This is an age-old Italian welcoming tradition called Pane Sul Tavolo: bread on table.) If you came in for this bread alone, you would not be disappointed: soft white interior with tender-crisp crust and old-world flavor and aroma…heavenly. 🙂 But you will also find a hospitable owner, a full Italian menu (pasta, salads, seafood…please see photos), fair prices, friendly, efficient service (ask for Dawn, if she is there), and…awesome, literally-hand-tossed-crust pizza. A relaxing dining experience from start to finish. We enjoyed pizza this time (and watching them toss the crust)—a tender-crisp crust with savory, fresh toppings served piping hot–and we plan to return for gnocchi and other Italian specialties. Add to all of this, great hours and a group-friendly, family-friendly, large, airy, clean, attractive Mediterranean interior…a winning combination. We love it. 🙂

Fantastic pizza in a clean, cozy environment. Our server was very personable and attentive. We had a large New York style pizza with lots of toppings. It was crispy all the way to the center of the crust without being over done or burned. Very flavorful, so much so that I kept forgetting to add the parmesan and crushed peppers to my slices. I would highly recommend this place for great pizza and quick service with a smile.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this was a bad experience. I ordered a Sicilian pizza for carry out . My pizza was the worst pizza I have ever tasted and wasted $25 on . I basically paid for crust . They were very skimpy on the sauce , barely any cheese and maybe one pepperoni per slice , if that and it was burnt, not crispy but burnt . I will never waste my money there again.

Great place to have some food with the family. Reminds me of a place I used to go with my parents. Don’t forget to tip, even if you’re just picking up an order. It means a lot to the people working behind the counter.

Asked for a steak and cheese sub with no onions and extra mayo… barely any meat, no lettuce and the worst cut of tomato. It came to $14 and some Change just for the sub..
