I ate a lot of it already before I took the picture. I’m full and what you see is what I have left. I got the platter (large). When I tell you it was soul good! I don’t eat fried food much but if you’re going to do that, come here! This literally can feed at least two people. I’d recommend getting the regular platter. My eyes were bigger than my stomach. Owner is very sweet. Definitely come check it out!

I had the Large Seafood Platter and it is exactly that, large! It was extremely tasty and what is pictured is what is leftover. The price is very affordable and the owner was very friendly. Don’t walk, run, you won’t regret it!

My first time coming to this food spot and the chicken sandwich is soooo good!! I accidentally forgot I liked my sandwiches plain so when I got my order and noticed. I immediately felt bad and offered to pay for another sandwich. Which I did, but the folks in there are so nice and the lady ended up giving me a refund and making me a brand new fresh sandwich. I will be coming back and ordering again. Thank you!

Just stopped to get the lunch special, which it was one piece of fish 2 sides and the fish was horrible. It tasted like it was freezer burnt and then I went to order the peach cobbler and on the menu it was priced $3.85. He rang me up and a total to be $4.89. None of the prices on the menu is correct. Do yourself a favor and ask before ordering.

Worth the wait!!! I tried 3 times to get into this restaurant because of the views. They were closed but TODAY, I finally got some!!! And might I say SHRIMPEE’S is a hidden treasure on the southside. Food cooked to order and FRESH!! The owner is such a joy. I told her about how finicky I was with catfish but when I tasted hers, I was in absolute heaven! Check her out. It’s so worth it.

Food was ok. Too salty. The owner who has a deep New Orleans accent is not very nice. I ordered Gumbo in October. She told me that she does not sell gumbo in the summer. A young lady came into the store to pick up a DoorDash order, she told her that they don’t do DoorDash. I said, you have a DoorDash sign in here. She said my daughter does DoorDash in the morning for breakfast. I told her that you all are clearly accepting orders if someone is able to place a DoorDash order. Another young man came in to place an order and he asked her how long was it going to be. She said as long as it take to cook your food. They have several seats where you can sit and eat but no restroom. My food took too long considering it was absolutely no one in the restaurant.

The food is horrible I just ordered & threw my whole plate away 14$ for 1 piece of slimey cat fish fake red beans & rice it white rice with canned beans on top ridiculous this is not authentic New Orleans food it was trash. I called to tell them how the food was the lady didn’t offer me no money back & told me well everybody else thinks it’s good are u kidding me
