This Starbucks stands out for all the right reasons. The team here genuinely seems to enjoy what they do — every visit feels easy, upbeat, and personal. Even when there’s a line, orders move fast, drinks come out perfectly made, and the staff manage to keep smiles on their faces the whole time.
I’ve stopped here multiple times while visiting family in the area, and the consistency has been spot-on. My drink orders are always made exactly right — whether it’s a hot espresso drink or a custom iced order, the flavor balance and temperature are perfect. The baristas also take time to confirm customizations, which goes a long way toward keeping the experience smooth.
The café itself is clean and comfortable — plenty of seating, quiet corners for working or reading, and a steady flow of regulars that give it that local feel despite being a big brand. The drive-thru is well organized and surprisingly quick, even during the morning rush.
It’s clear this location has strong leadership and a crew that takes pride in their work. If you’re in Clarkston and want your coffee made right — with great service and a genuine smile — this Starbucks delivers every time.

I was handed a hot cup of coffee without the lid being properly closed by the employee. It burned my figer as I went to put it in my cupholder. He was not concerned when I informed him it had spilled and the lid wasn’t on correctly.

I am a loyal customer to Clarkston Starbucks, I go there at least 6 days out of the week. This morning after work I ordered my usual, Venti or Grande Chestnut Praline Latte(hot), along with Double smoked bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Shortly after ordering I realized I left my Debt card at home! Once I got to the window I immediately let the lady know and apologized. She was so polite and even told me to hang on for just a second. When she came back they let me have my drink! I am very thankful and super happy they allowed me to have the drink at least 🙂 thank you so much!

Order two drinks, both not correct. Burnt shot in the macchiato, a standard drink on the menu, completely undrinkable. 2nd one was okay but missing strawberry puree. Quick in quick out service and not even that busy, disappointed.

I recently had a disappointing experience at this Starbucks. I ordered a medium chai and a large blonde latte with brown sugar cold foam on the side. We were charged $1.32 for the foam, but received only about 2 oz, which barely added any flavor to the drink.
When I politely asked for a little more foam to better enjoy the taste I’d paid for, the cashier, Maddie, refused, saying we’d have to pay again for additional foam. I explained that we could hardly taste it as it was, but the response was still “no.”
For a $15 purchase, I was hoping for a more enjoyable experience and a bit more flexibility with such a small and reasonable request. This experience left me feeling that customer satisfaction wasn’t a priority here.

Asked for a Vente coffee and got a grande. And when I went inside to tell them they argue with me. WOW. Iv never experienced that at a Starbucks ever. But. $13.00. For a shaker and a grada coffee. . Happy mother day. They need happier staff. And maybe a bit more friendliness .

This Starbucks needs to reconsider their policy of making you come inside to purchase ground coffee or at least allow their employees to make decisions against this policy, when appropriate. I was in the drive thru with no cars ahead of or behind me… asking only for a pound of ground coffee. The lady said I needed to come inside. I can somewhat see the sense of this if they were busy. They were empty. I have a disability so coming inside wasn’t an option. Instead, I left the empty drive thru, spent my money elsewhere, and will not return to this location.
