Bad experience today at the Timonium, Md. Starbucks location.
My 11 year old needed to use the restroom badly so we stopped at this location. She was told she needed to make a purchase before using the restroom.
I googled their restroom policy and yes they have changed it to stop loitering and other unwanted activities in the store.
I can understand this for teens or adult. But a 11 year old?
I was PISSED when she told me they denied her so I went inside to speak to the manager and she apologized stating it was their policy.
So I just walked out still PISSED.
Maybe next time if a child has an accident INSIDE the store, they will reconsider this policy when it comes to children.

The irony is we made a purchase from another location today 8/13/25 and have not yet had time to drink. So pissed it will be going down the sink.

Timonium Rd, MD. Starbucks and any other location that would deny entry to Children- DO BETTER!

This was a really nice and friendly Starbucks my first visit here. I was greeted, quite friendly, and welcome to Starbucks. The baristas took our order, and it was made to what we wanted
The added treat was that I was asked how I liked my drink afterward. My reply was that it was great and it really was
Quality customer service!!!

This Starbucks (Timonium Next to Honeygrow and Mom’s) has got to be THE WORST Starbucks I have ever been into in my life. I have been before many times and have been a Starbucks customer for 20+ YEARS…. I asked for a cup of water and the “Barista” said “what was your order”. I told him a cup of water….in which he replied “I can’t give you water unless you order something.” WHATTTT⁉️ So I doesn’t matter that I’m a daily customer ???? I have to order something right now to get a cup of water ??!??? DISGRACEFUL !!!! I went next door to Honeygrow where I was actually greeted with a smile and given a cup of water. THIS STARBUCKS FAILS BY EVERY SINGLE METRIC.

The customer service has noticeably declined since they moved to the new location. Staff rarely greet customers waiting in the pickup area, unlike at the previous location, and they consistently prioritize in-store orders over online ones. On several occasions, I’ve seen customers who placed in-store orders after I had already arrived for pickup receive theirs before my online order was even started.

At around 1:45 PM, I entered this Starbucks intending to purchase a drink or coffee products. Before ordering, I asked a female employee for the restroom code. She told me that I would only be given the password if I made a purchase . The way it was said made me feel judged, as if I was assumed to not be able to afford a cup of coffee or even a bag of Starbucks coffee. I felt disrespected and unfairly treated. This behavior is unacceptable. I will not be returning to this location.

Mobile ordered ahead of time, then still waited over 30 minutes for a simple shot of espresso. It stated my drink “was ready” yet it never hit the counter, the worker (Veronka) said she already made it and someone must’ve taken it, a lie. Ridiculous service, no refund, finally got my drink and it was made WRONG. How do you mess up a shot of espresso with a pump of classic syrup. Horrible service!!!!

This is an awesome Starbucks where one is able to sit down and enjoy their purchases and read a book. The coffee is good. The cake, bun and bread selections are great. The rest of the food is almost a pure yuck fest as in not delicious at all. Avoid pizza at all costs. The atmosphere is good, the dining area is clean. This place is NOT overrun by homeless panhandlers. This is a safe place to bring the family. I enjoy this Starbucks location whenever I visit.

Unfortunately, this location has too many overly entitled babies who whine in the reviews that they can’t wander in off the street and demand free water and use of the restrooms unless they actually patronize the business. It’s one thing to be frustrated that a business requires a purchase, but it’s entirely ridiculous to be so upset that you write a “negative” review because your feelings were hurt. Actual customers don’t want to stand behind you waiting in line while you demand a free random water. The lines are already long enough without you. Actual customers don’t want to wait behind non-customers doing God knows what to use the bathroom. Just buy a $3 coffee. Also, did Toyin really just state that, instead of buying a $3 coffee, she made her 11 year old suffer for longer than necessary while she whined and dragged him to another business? Was she being principled or entitled? I’m sure her kid appreciated her attitude as he peed his pants.

Really having problems understanding how to keep drive-through moving. 15 minutes and counting. Make sure you allow extra time since this line doesn’t move.
