Friendly staff
Not so good
—————-
Every thing
When I walk in place is pretty open. Staff asked me to sit anywhere. Unfortunately none of the tables are clean. Every table has some kind of food on it.
Next oh my god their menu book is so dirty that you do not even feel like touching it.
Next – Holy moly every dish ordered has some kind of weird taste. Not a good one.
I do not recommend this place at all.
This was one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. The food quality was unacceptable raw chicken, bland dishes, no salt, no flavor. On top of that, the service was delayed and the food seemed poorly prepared.
What made the situation far worse was the staff’s conduct. The girl handling our table was unable to communicate properly in English. We even switched to Hindi to make things easier, yet she still managed to make the billing process confusing and chaotic.
Our total bill was $131.24 for five people, which clearly comes to about $26.24 per person. However, she charged each of us $43 which is completely incorrect. When we questioned the amount and showed her the math, she initially ignored the concern. Once we firmly pointed out the discrepancy, she blamed the card machine instead of taking responsibility.
Her behavior was rude, dismissive, and uncooperative. She kept insisting we pay without addressing the mistake and showed no willingness to listen. It felt extremely suspicious, as though she assumed we wouldn’t notice the overcharge.
When we asked to speak to a manager, they attempted to stall before finally voiding the incorrect transactions. Even then, when we asked for proof of the voided transactions, she handed us an itemized food list instead of an actual void receipt and claimed “this is what I am getting,” which made no sense.
To make matters worse, we were then charged $132.23, while my bank statement clearly shows $131.24 deducted. The inconsistency in billing only adds to the distrust.
The food was unacceptable, the service was unprofessional, and the billing process was handled in a way that felt deceptive and incompetent. Customers deserve honesty, clarity, and respect none of which we experienced.
I strongly advise anyone dining here to double-check their bills carefully and not blindly trust what is presented to them.
The gravy was good, proper indian flavors and not the americanised version that you get at other indian restaurants in Seattle. The spice level was accurate ( i chose medium hot) !!
The roti was nice and soft.
Would certainly try more options from here 🙂
When I brought this to the staff’s attention, the woman assisting me was rude and dismissive instead of addressing the issue professionally. There was no proper apology or resolution offered.
Unfortunately, due to the food quality and the way the situation was handled, I would not return.
