O wow if you want real Mexican food you have to come here. It’s the most authentic Mexican food I’ve tasted in New England. It’s a must if you are in Providence you should stop by for for a margarita and cheese quesadilla if nothing else. This place is great

Cozy little shack . Feels like the family is running it. Full liquor license which is a plus for me. And Mexican street tacos. I also had El Menudo with onion and cilantro and a side of tortilla. Great seasoning on everything

Solid place for some Mexican staples, I enjoyed the food (I got the molé enchilada) and hope to come back and explore the menu a bit. It reminds me a lot of El Rancho Grande, which I believe has sadly closed for good due to the pandemic. I miss it a lot, but this place is a good substitute. If you’re just getting tacos, though, La Lupita and Al Son de Mi Barrio are cheaper options and better quality in my opinion.

Trash trash trash! I love mexican food as i am mexican my self and have an open mind to many different types of style from tex-mex to authentic mexican food… the queso fundido was straight up mozzarella cheese melted in a microwave food had no flavor and it also took about 50 min to get our microwave ready food… terrible experience

My first time was okay. It didn’t really taste all that authentic. Remind you I grew up going to Mexico once a week ever since I was little and lived on the Texas border so I know my Mexican food. Portions are small for my liking but maybe it’s a Texan thing where we get huge quantities. Usually the enchiladas plates come with beans but this place don’t serve them. It has to be ordered separately. The second time my enchiladas had a weird piece of chicken and looks like they mixed pieces of old dried chicken. My husband took a bite and said the chicken is not cooked well. My husband got the birria tacos. As soon as I tasted the consume and the tacos they lacked something. I want to say salt. It tasted just bland. And we just had birria tacos like two days ago at another place and it had more flavor to it. The service was excellent but the food lacks flavor and authenticity.

This is the only place that has the closest typical Mexican food in Providence, the “Posole” is worth to have with a beer!!! Cheers

Excellent. Awesome tastes at least price. No cheating, no painting tortillas for saying is gourmet and high cocine. Very delicious. Place is simple and small but it is quiet. If you want to taste really Mexican food is here.

This might be the best Mexican food in providence. I’ve been there twice now. The burrito was awesome. The birria was great. The server also recommended a soup with a type of corn I had never had before. This was awesome too.
