The food served here feels homely and satisfied our Indian food cravings. We had the Dahi Puri and South Indian Thali (the food in the thali is confusing as it says south Indian but dishes are north Indian) , but nevertheless the taste is very good.

Ordered a pani puri, South Indian veg thali and mango lassi.
Pros: Very friendly staff, authentic tasting food, mango lassi was great!
Cons: South Indian thali had choley/chalna masala and paneer butter masala, which are typical North Indian food items. Also, the pani puri came only with one type of flavored water – it usually comes with 2 types : sweet and spicy.
Overall a nice experience except the few things mentioned.

We celebrated our cousin’s birthday at this restaurant. The owner is very friendly and flexible.The food is delicious, reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is good. Easy to reach by car and public transportation. Tram stops are nearby and parking spaces are not hard to find. Really good for authentic Indian food and, of course, for get-togethers and birthday parties.

I ordered the Vegetarian Thali (€18.90) for lunch, where the rice could be ordered more if you wish. Simply delicious! I requested the owner to ask the chef to make it as authentic as possible and they did exactly that! I instantly got reminded of food back in India.
The best thing was that everything was freshly made! Even the Paneer (cottage cheese) and Gulab Jamun (sweet dish) were homemade.
Very friendly owners and ambience of the restaurant including the cleanliness of the toilets, are top-notch! Highly recommended to try it out!

The food was delicious and super authentic. The service was impeccable. The restaurant itself is a pretty relaxed place with Bollywood songs played at the perfect volume. You can here conversation on your table but not your neighbors. Just a lovely place, will be back to try more!

The food is delicious, no second thought about it. Cravings for authentic south Indian food will be served right. The hospitality of the employees and the owner is the best part as they make sure the chef makes the food according to their requirement. And most of the ingredients for the food are made by the owners instead of buying some random packed stuff from the stores, to give the special authentic touch of home cooked South Indian delicacies. I had a great evening as the restaurant is at a very calm and peaceful in the city. I would give a 10/10 for their efforts to make the authentic Hyderabadi dum biryani, I just recalled my days in the Hyderabad trip in India. The owners make sure everyone gets their order served hot either when dining in the restaurant or when you order it online. One of the best Indian restaurant in Germany I would say.

Must visit for Indian cuisine in Karlsruhe. We liked everything that we ordered from North Indian cuisine to South Indian cuisine. Punugullu being one of my favourites, it’s the first time I got it in any restaurant in Germany. Really friendly staff and clean place.

We had a very “disappointing experience”. We were understanding and even adjusted our seats when asked because it was quite busy, but the service did not improve afterward. Our food arrived cold, and we weren’t given the necessary utensils until we asked for them.
When we requested to have our leftovers packed, the staff told us to do it ourselves and only provided boxes, saying it was “their policy”. This felt unhelpful and unfriendly.
The waitress seemed rushed but was polite and doing her best despite the situation.
Unfortunately, the owner’s attitude was extremely arrogant and dismissive, which made the entire experience much worse.
What was supposed to be a happy birthday celebration turned into a disappointing evening. I really hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both their service and customer treatment.
And it was our first time.
