Our family went out to Sal’s tonight and Every single meal we ordered was absolutely delicious! We started with the badabing shrimp (the best sauce) and chicken wings. The pasta fagioli soup so so good and creamy.
I finally decided to take the pics of the main courses, you can just tell how good everything was!
The service was impeccable, our server Kayla was very attentive and quick, really made it a nice experience.
If you’re looking for a nice night out with some delicious food and nice little Italian setting, Sal’s is a must visit! 10/10 recommend!!

Similar to another recent review: I’ve gone here off and on for 3 decades now. But the last pizza I got (first in 5 years) was just somehow more like a frozen pizza. Difficult to describe because it would still be preferable to dominos etc but it’s gone a notch in their direction so it gets a 3 these days

There was only one other table with people in the restaurant, yet the service was extremely slow. I had to wave down the waitress for a drink refill and to order dessert. The pizza lunch specials was warmed up cheese pizza with topping thrown on top (not cooked in). I could have heated it up better in my air fryer. My grandsons and I will not be back.

Ordered a pizza for delivery via doordash, received an old pizza with single slices that were put together. Insulting and embarrassing as a business to be doing this. You don’t play with people’s money who spend it on your food. Pizza tasted old. How are you unable to cook a fresh pizza for someone who paid for it?

I went to Sal’s Italian Ristorante with my spouse to enjoy some pizza, and we absolutely loved it. The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. The cozy atmosphere made the experience even more enjoyable. Parking was very easy to find, We’ll definitely be coming back!

This place used to be good but wow has it gone down. This is my experience with my last and final visit. We ordered an Italian sub…wrong sandwich was made. It took forever to get the correct one and then it was cold. The pizza, as you can see from the picture, was so over cooked, it was like biting into cardboard and trying to tear it apart. We ended up just eating the toppings because the waitress never came back to check on us or to refill drinks. Also, the pizza sauce has changed and it is so bland. So disappointed. We won’t be back. Sal if you are reading this…you need to go back to NY to take a refresher course.

I have been coming to this small restaurant for years and the food has ALWAYS been really good, authentic Italian food. I can’t relate to the negative reviews, always had a great experience. During season they get very busy , therefore things slow down naturally, but it happens everywhere not just here. Prices are affordable ( not that it matters to me) all I can say, the food is very good!!

Placed a catering order for 100 guests from this location. I ordered Spaghetti, Pasta Ala vodka and fettuccine Alfredo. Plus the chicken and garlic rolls and it was amazing. Definitely coming back.

I’ve been going to Sal’s at the Garden Shops for 13 yrs now because I absolutely love their pizza. I haven’t been in about 2 yrs and was excited to have their pizza this week. It pains me to say that their pizza is no longer the same. Almost $14 for what they label as a 12″ medium. This was by no means a medium pizza. It was a small 10″ and everywhere else would be labeled a small. In fact, I used to order a small there and get the same size. I understand inflation but this felt like a deceptive attempt to justify the price hike. The other disappointment was the taste. The sauce is different and it’s no longer what I’d consider one of the best pizzas around, as I used to. It honestly makes me sad because I was really looking forward to it. The place was empty, which I now understand why. There are other locations closer to me, but I always felt this one was superior and worth the drive. Now, they seemed to have lowered their quality to be on par with the other sites. Is Sal gone? What happened here?

If you show up and you’re going to order take out…
The guy behind the oven looks at you and looks the other way (short, heavy set, brown hair, scruffy beard). I still remain standing there. He doesn’t ask “what would you like, how can I help you, he said words to the effect “what do ya need? I was stunned but had the menu in my hand and listed to the items I wanted. He said it 10 last 3 pm and the computer would not let him in…… He made no excuses…not an exception.
I will NEVER go back there.
Just noticed, I got over 31,000 views, wonder if that would have any impact on the lackluster service? I doubt it. If you have a choice SKIP it. Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen, there is another restaurant worthy if you patronage and will treat you with “decency”.
This restaurants attitude is so BOCA, that’s a hard PASS in the attitude department!
Clearly the owner needs to reevaluate the front staff temperament. Send in sleeper’s and record it.
You must can’t make this stuff up, is just so deplorable.
