A true GEM! A proper diner, complete with very tight limited parking (caution!). I didn’t expect to find huevos rancheros in a cafe in Connecticut, but there is a large community of Latinos in Stamford and it seemed most appropriate to see their selections on their menu. Black beans and sour cream with channels was spot on. All of the other fixings were very nice, all the plates are served in square which is slightly different than a typical diner, makes it stand out. One of the things I appreciate it most was the bright clean environment that is not typical with a dive or a diner. They used porcelain table tops and countertops for the bar area. That is expensive and will last a long time. The open kitchen and quick service was appreciated. The food was exactly what we went for. The coffee selection was great. Certainly highly recommend this.

Friendly place and very busy. Food was good, didn’t realize the beans were refried. Would have preferred regular black beans. The shake was good.

The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. The tables and chairs looked pristine, and the food cane out hot and fresh. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

The atmosphere was that of a traditional American diner, and although it offered traditional American breakfast, it also offered a great selection of Mexican style food offerings. The servers were fast and attentive, warm and inviting!

The staff here is wonderful, we had Jalaisa as our server and everyone is so friendly. She answered our questions promptly and honestly. Additionally, it’s so clean in there! The restroom is also kept very clean. I appreciated our experience here.

I had the veggie omelette, hash browns, with a coffee. The hash browns came out hot. Veggies was fresh. I like the portion provided. It was good. No complaints. Food comes quick and service is friendly. I like this.
