Shrimp ceviche, and two Venezuelan rice dishes. I haven’t been in the Ivy Tavern for 30 years, and was surprised by the new ownership but, very happy with the food.

The girl served our food with the gloves she just cleaned the bathroom with.
The women cooking the food microwaved the rice till it was piping hot the zip lock bag was practically melted onto the rice and they are serving this to people. They did this all right in front of us!!!!
The pork chop was old and we ate nothing from these plates. We paid them the 60 $ and left. This was the most unhealthy and un hygienic place I have ever sat down to eat at.
Utterly gross I cannot imagine what they do behind the scene.

I’m not gonna lie and say the food doesn’t take a little while to get to you. But I will say that it’s worth the wait. I’ve been there on slow nights and crazy nights and no matter what they always make you feel like you’re home. Thanks, Ivy!
