I ordered the Chicken Coconut Curry Pho ( some thing like that) and it was delicious. Its clean and comfortable, the place was pretty full but wasn’t loud at all. I have tried to eat here 2 other times and there was a line up each time. Prices were good too. I dont recall what my friend had but she said hers was good too and we shared rice rolls. I didnt take a picture.

We stopped in here for dinner Saturday night, place wasn’t that busy but service was slow, the food made up for it. I had the Seafood soup, the wife had the coconut cream soup, both were amazing. Was not happy about a service tax and then they asked for a tip. Especially cause the service was poor. I guess we’re just used to the location on Watt.

The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Vermicelli bowl, pork salad rolls, wonton soup, and cream cheese wontons. Everything was great, except the cream cheese wontons. The filling was so sweet that the imitation crab flavour was barely noticeable. Overall, it’s a great spot for Vietnamese food, and they also offer bubble tea.

Although their food is great (5 stars), Watt Street Bistro is unable to provide orders for medium to large sized work functions if pickup is for 11:30 am to meet any 12:00 noon work function. I arrived at 11:20 am for a committed 11:30 am pickup for a work function. This pickup time was reconfirmed by the restaurant manager on two separate phone calls. When I arrived at 11:20 am, the restaurant was empty with no customers. I was informed the order was almost ready and being packaged. At 11:38 am, I was again told the order was almost ready. At 11:40 am, a Skip driver walked in and immediately received their order. At 11:50 am, there were now 7 tables seated and most had received their orders. At 12:09 noon, the order was now ready. As the vehicle was being loaded with the help of staff, I was told “you were made aware we could only have this order ready by 12:00 noon”. This statement was so unprofessional seeing two separate calls confirmed an 11:30 am pickup. The earlier statement made at 11:20 am: “Your order is being packaged” also supports they were aware of the 11:30 am pickup time. Nothing was offered or said to rectify this experience.
Delivery to the event location was received well into the scheduled lunch period. Had we been made aware that this restaurant could not make the 11:30 am pick up time, another restaurant would have been selected.
Please choose another restaurant for your noon work events as you will be disappointed by having to wait almost 40 minutes past your scheduled pickup time.

First time here ordered the Pho, Glad I ordered a regular. There was lots. Also had the cream cheese filled wontons and spring rolls. Very good. We will be back.

I like this place. Salad rolls were very good, peanut sauce was also very good. Shrimp spring rolls were hot and cooked perfectly and were hot till the end. Not the biggest pho but loaded nicely. The peanut pho wasn’t my favourite. I wouldn’t order again. Selkirk has the best IMO. And the roast beef I would not order, the rare beef was the best option IMO will try other options. The servers were great and fast. Tried some things we wouldn’t normally try this place has some great things just take time to figure what they do best. Recently tried the beef sub, crusty bun warm meat and a sweet savoury sauce. Wasn’t the biggest sub but tasty! Chicken curry soup was different great presentation personally I like the green or red curry not a fan of the yellows flavour. Place was bright and clean, bathrooms could use better attention. Always friendly and great service. I will frequent here!

Been coming here once a week for a few months with my boyfriend. Food is always consistent, delicious and fresh. wide range of menu items to choose from and the staff is always super kind and helpful. My favorite items are the pho, fried wontons, pork buns and the taro bubble tea! 10/10 everyone in Transcona should eat here!

I was disappointed at the taste of their food. My family and I have been going to the original one on Watt Street for years. We were very happy to see the local business expanding when this location opened up. I am not sure what’s happened in the last year or so because the quality of food keep declining. The most recent experience last night was the worst!
We ordered some Pho, curry cream noodles, and Pad Thai.
1. The broth of the pho was NOT deep sophisticated savory flavor, but it tasted as if it was from a packaged instant noodles.
2. They definitely changed the noodles. The texture and flavor of the rice noodles in all three dishes did NOT taste like authentic pure rice noodles.
3. Pad Thai was soupy. Green bell peppers in the dish tasted soily and they needed some good washing. The chicken pieces tasted old and smelly.
I know my family, relatives, and friends use their service and we all love Vietnamese food.
I am writing this review hoping they improve on the points made because it’d be a shame if we loose a good restaurant in the neighborhood.
