Very excited to try at the forth of July celebration. I have heard that fat kid has excellent food. We waited for almost twenty minutes for fries and chicken fingers. The chicken fingers were 4 for 8$. To our dismay when we opened the container a mile away we discovered we were shorted a chicken finger. So 2$ worth. The fries were completely soggy. Honey mustard was nasty but sweet chili was decent. Very disappointed don’t think I’ll go back.

Absolutely love food trucks and BBQ! But this was a horrible experience. Unfortunately I’ve tried this food truck on three different occasions. Each being a greater disappointment than the last.
1. Brisket nachos. Hardly any brisket on the nachos. Probably a good thing because the brisket was so fatty that it was almost Inedible. And I hope you like cheap unmelted cheese on top of your nachos because that’s about all there is to it.
2. Pulled pork sandwich. Wasn’t much flavor to the pulled pork and the bun was completely drenched.
3. Beef tips And gravy. Beef tips were hard as a rock and they put so much gravy over the mashed potatoes it turned into a soup. One big slushy mess.
In summary this place serves low quality cheap food at a high price point. Fat Kid BBQ is everything barbecue isn’t! And is a disgrace to even put that in its name.

I had the pulled brisket-pork nachos and they are to die for. The container was so heavy with the generous helping of food I was given. Well worth every single $$ I paid for it. I would and will buy from them again.

Giving 2 stars because I have had their food multiple times the food is great. That being the case we had them cater our wedding. It was very hard to get ahold of them when we were trying to organize everything because they were busy, which was a pain in planning a wedding. (Many unanswered calls and no return call when planned) They ended up showing up 2 hours late to the reception and we were very unhappy but still respectful and we were treated like it was our fault and we were overreacting. Would have gone with anybody else looking back.

Absolutely amazing food! Glad we came up to the Tap House at the Square and got to enjoy your food! We had the loaded nachos, loaded ribeye sandwich, and fries! Everything was AMAZING!!!
