This restuarant does NOT deserve one star! I am sharing my nephews post on Facebook !!!

I will be reporting them to the APD and ADA.
Francesca’s Italian Restaurant

We had reservations for 6 inside.
It’s a cold night tonight.

They REFUSED to seat / serve us because we had a service dog.
A well trained certified service dog. That much nicer respectful restaurants served us.

If you’re not aware it is against the law to refuse to serve because of a service dog.
A service dog can go ANYWHERE its human goes.

Thank you to Cobalt Restaurant for seating us immediately.
Better food. Anyways.

Our nephew Ralph , shared the check that was well over 800.00 so given this unthinkable issue, I am glad it went to Cobalt!
Darwin , their service dog has not moved an inch all night. Like a true Service dog ‍ is supposed todo.

I can only add to my nephews post that their service dog , Darwin is so wonderful. We had a big event in Ohio. Darwin was on a flight plus at our event and was terrific!

The interior dining is very small with minimal ambiance. Literally tables bordering the front door and hostess stand. Outside a bit nicer. The food was good. The Alfredo sauce was outstanding. The marinara sauce was a bit bland and watery. Pasta was cooked great, pesto was tasty and the eggplant was perfectly tender. Chicken in the dishes was a bit underdone. But overall tasty. The service wasn’t great. Not rude but also not friendly. Little attention to details, dishes sat on the table and had to wait for needed services.

Dinner for 4 on a beautiful patio. Calamari was good, but too much breading, which fell off when forked. Raylyn, waitress got one order wrong. Veal & Branzino were too salty. Branzino was not as expected , menu descriptions was poor. Wine was very good. Will not be returning. Should have known when we entered, there was only one other table of guests.

I had a disappointing experience. Our party of six, four adults and two teens, ate outside. Two correct entrees and one incorrect one, mine, were served with a very modest portion of bread (did I mention we had two teens?) and one pat of butter. Three other entrees arrived several minutes later. My entree, spaghetti with meatballs (how could they mess that one up?) came about the time everyone else was finishing up. The meatballs were lukewarm warm at best and rather bland. Everyone else rated their meals as “OK”. All we got was a quick “sorry” about the problems. I would seem that serving all entrees at the same time is a basic rule of service and offering some option for the missed order would have improved my experience.

The food was so amazing! We were visiting from NC and wanted to try somewhere we’ve never been. It was a great time. Will definitely be back again!

Raelyn was extremely helpful—she was sweet and friendly with our 11-year-old daughter. We visited on December 30, 2025, and were lucky to be seated without a reservation. The food was delicious.

The waitress was very defensive when my sister said the drink was not that good. (It was from a mix) then she took away my food while I was still chewing and then wanted to pack my daughter’s food while she was still eating. And then just dumped the check down and never asked if we wanted dessert. Very weird experience for me.
Food was good. Outside seating was nice

Thrilled to find Francesca’s nearby. Expected a little pizza place and found exceptional pasta. Started with a fresh and generous antipasta salad and velvety arincini with rich tomato sauce and a nice crunch. But holy moly, the carbonara was a show stopper. Real, rich, quality carbonara as it was intended. Lasagna was very good as well but I’d come back again and again for the carbonara. I never order spaghetti and only ordered after seeing the traditional preparation. So glad I did. Oh, and piping hot bread with whipped butter, yum, and a small but fair wine list.
Small place, pleasant and efficient service, and damn good pasta. Would definitely recommend.
