Special pasta made in or on cheese wheel was very good as was the Caesars salad.
Seafood special was plentiful. Ribeye was well cooked but served with a chunk of fat attached.
Great waitress.

Lago is one of the best Italian restaurants in Westchester and the best Italian in the White Plains area (bar none!). You know you’re in for a good meal as soon as the bread and oil comes out (fantastic), the cold apps are awesome (such fresh prosciutto and salame), the pasta is cooked just right, the meat is great and the wine top notch . The staff is great also. Highly recommend.

I have to say this is probably the best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time.
Every dish that came out of that Kitchen was made with love. Had to meet with the owner Chef to thank him for a really great meal.
It’s over an hour away from where I live but I will definetly be returning.

It’s a cute and nice restaurant in the neighborhood. The people who work there are very friendly. The food is great. I’ve been there couple times and never left disappointed. And cappuccino they make is just perfect.

This a THE PLACE! I keep going to this restaurant because, easy parking, outstanding service, the food is always delicious and the keep the consistency. Loui the Manager always recommend the best wine for you meal.
I always get the carbonnara! And if you want to get a dessert order the banana flame that they cook on the side or the tres leches(special, not always they have it). Highly recommended!

We went on a Sunday evening to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they had three big parties so service was a bit slow. Once the bigger party cleared service got better. The calamari was delicious and so was the plate of cheese and olives we ordered. I ordered the gnocchi with pesto and was not a fan. It was more creamy than I prefer. Hubby ordered the veal which he enjoyed. The decor is rustic, winery vibes.

I ordered the Eggplant Parmigiana, good portion size if you split an appetizer (which we did) but it was a little small so if you’re ordering it alone I would recommend getting something on the side. Overall great service and amazing food! Seating is a little tight so I would also say call ahead and book a reservation if possible!

– veal was unique
– generous cheese platter (it’s old school style, and not as trendy), so if you are used to trendy / hip cheese platter maybe skip this one.
– lots of Italian wines to choose from.
Reasonably priced.
No ambiance. It’s not corporate but not romantic. It’s very old school Italian, not sure maybe more family style?

One of the best italian meals I have had in a long time. This restaurant came to us as a surprise simply because we googled near by places to eat and just chose this out of a whim. We are glad we did, the service was excellent and the food was amazing! We had the eggplant parmigiana and the pappardelle. We were raving about how fresh everything was and tasted, nothing seemed to have been frozen. The taste was superb and we left the plates clean! I highly recommend this place for a good wholesome Italian dish, you will not be disappointed!
