Reviews
We ordered a variety of dishes, including thai chicken wings, wonton soup, spring rolls, pad Thai chicken, street-style noodles, jasmine rice, chicken fried rice, and several drinks. Everything tasted amazing. To our surprise, the food was Indian-level spicy. The staff asked whether we wanted it hot or spicy, and when they said “Indian spicy,” we said yes and they absolutely delivered. Every dish was flavorful and delicious. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable. We had such a lovely time. The restaurant was kind enough to give us a separate section since our kids were running around, which made the experience even more enjoyable and stress-free.The place has a fun vibe and even a great photo booth, which added to the overall experience
The interior is also pretty cute, there’s a photo spot in the corner. The restaurant is nearby a lively area which was lit up at night.
We got the Mango Monsoon cocktail, the Pink Dragon mocktail, the golden tofu appetizer, Gang Pak, and the whole branzino in curry, which was beautifully presented and delicious. We were too full for dessert but I’m already planning to come back to try the mango sticky rice:)
Highly recommend !!!!
Spice level, if you have a high tolerance for spice I would still recommend medium at max. They got the authentic spice levels
We weren’t able to order cocktails on Friday night because there wasn’t a bartender. Granted it was somewhat early? (7-8pm) but still weird
We had to wait a little longer than usual to receive our checks when we were done eating. They were quite busy.
I would love to come back try out what else they have in the menu. Still think they could’ve name it Thai me up instead of Tai but I might be missing some history there!
Our server showed up a while later, not dressed professionally and clearly not well-trained. The Thai lettuce wraps came out fairly quickly via a food runner, but the host who sat us cleared the plate and took my only fork. When our entrées arrived, no one came to check on us..not once. The server never came back to the table at all. Instead, the staff were standing at the end of the bar or disappearing into the back, scrolling on their phone and sipping a drink. The restaurant wasn’t even busy – just a few tables including ours.
When we finished, the server finally walked by, dropped the check without stopping, said “thanks, have a good night” mid-stride, and kept walking. It was incredibly dismissive.
The only reason this isn’t a 1-star review is because the food tasted great. But service matters, and this experience was disappointing enough that I won’t be returning and do not recommend this restaurant. Maybe try takeout if you’re going to order from here.
